One free 90 sounds great. It won't be top geared, only get profession boosts if you did the first 60 levels, and only happens once. Paying to get more 90s does not sound good to me. I've been working forever on catching up on old content (jousting over 100 days in Northrend, spending over 100 days at tol Barad, collecting groups to get Glory achievements, collecting old expac mounts/titles, still working on chef and salty) and a free 90 doesn't give you 9000 achievement points, all the mounts, pets, or any of the transmog gear/legendary items that take time to collect. Sure a lot of it is easier, but I'll never get a black qiraji mount, and several titles that only go to those who earned them back in the day. Those who don't like where their class has gone this expansion can finally work a new class without the need of feeling like their work was wasted, I can actually get a new friend who can start on current content (instead of spending hours leveling them, then weeks gearing them). The free 90 is a great idea for a 5th! (yeah that's too much work to new people) expansion. What worries me is paying for additional level 90 upgrades. I really think they should keep it at 1 per account. So, to sum up, a free 90 has more positives than negatives. Being able to pay for more 90s is not a good idea. A free 90 still means a lot of work to achieve even some of things old players spent a lot of time on (Loremaster for instance) while there are still lots of unavailable items/titles new players will never get.
....Speechless. Wow will have a bunch of clueless 90s running around, more than usually...
i see it as cheating other ppl who spent hours of leveling get nothing maybe a toon they dont have but the lazy ppl just starting get booster chairs to sit in ok
Dang, if I knew the QQ would be this intense I'd have brought popcorn. Keep it coming Blizzard! :D
I've leveled 11 different classes to 90 and all professions plus 2 extra alchemists to 600 I am think I should get a free one
I hope Tyrael's Charger is cheap, as I originally had one from the Annual Pass, but then Blizzard took it and my Diablo 3 license off me after my Battle Net account got hacked and I refused to trust them with my card details, and wouldn't accept payment through time cards. It would be nice to own that mount again.
People who want to level an alt from 1-90 repeatedly will be disappointed others will have the option to skip this tedious step. Everyone else will be happy to be able to play what they paid for immediately.
to be honest i think that this idea is good but they can work a bit on the details,i mean if people want to pay for a lvl 90 and blizzard wont let them, they will just buy a account from ebay or so and play on that, a lot of people stopt playing becous they didn't like the idea of MoP tro this they can skip it and start enjoing the game again.
All you had to do to get the mount was commit to a years subscription for WOW, still paying monthly you could get out of it by stopping your account. Not really much of a commitment if you were going to be playing anyway plus you got Diablo 3 free.
The thing most of you are missing in this, is that it's an option. No one is forcing anyone to do this, like you either pay for this or you will be left behind. The idea of leveling up to level 90, just as a boost it will allow new players that are coming in to get right into the game. There is no expectation that oh if you want to be really good at this game you need to have done this, this, & that. Also folks that want to say oh well your just letting everyone win if that screenshot is any evidence, if you read the section before it that profession bonus is only for toons that have some actual work done with them. A new player that has never leveled a character won't be eligible for this, that's the whole point of the "veteran's benefit".
