Making resolutions for the upcoming year is a common practice on New Year’s Eve; however, the number of people who actually keep those resolutions is startling small. Gym memberships skyrocket, then slowly decline over the course of the year. I don’t normally make resolutions, but I do believe that coming up with a few goals for a new year is a pretty good exercise in pointing your life in the direction you want. In order to ensure my success, I’m going to make some backwards resolutions. If I say that I resolve to not do things, I’m surely going to do them in spite of myself. In 2012 I resolve to… NOT lose 50 lbs NOT self-publish a short story/novella NOT complete a Copy Editing Certificate Program NOT cut my number of possessions by a third NOT save enough money for six months of emergency funds NOT pay off at least one of my student loans NOT make an effort to see my family at least once a month NOT be more social and rekindle old friendships NOT participate in a charity walk/run event NOT blog at least once a weekI solemnly swear to NOT complete these tasks in the upcoming year in order to achieve my goals and better myself as a person. Happy Apocalypse Year!

My real world New Year's resolution is to take life one day at a time (stop worrying about the end of the world to start out with... though I thought I saw a comet in the sky coming toward the earth... erm... >< so much for that resolution...) My World of Warcraft resolution is to continue to prepare and hoard for the future destruction of Azeroth... hmmm... Thanks so much for putting on this contest! Happy New Year everybody!
IRL: Dust off those thesis proposals in the closet and see if I can get myself back on track for grad school; enjoy my first year of marriage with my new husband and hopefully get to keep him here with me in Canada :)
My New Year's resolution is to better myself by joining the U.S. Army. I've already taken the steps to do so and hopefully everything will go smoothly. As for in-game New Year's resolution, i plan on being significantly nicer to those less fortunate than myself. For example: I won a weapon from the Raid Finder Dragon Soul and gave the weapon to someone who needed it more than i did. I actually received and in-game mail from this person that I have never met thanking me for my generosity. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)
My New Year's resolution was to win one of these WoWhead contests, ever. I intend to stick to it, especially with Scott Pilgrim on the line!
My new year resolution is, as always, to continue advancing to world dominance.
Raid progression and get to the final boss for once.
To stress less (I will try but I already know I will be unsuccessful)
to pass all exams and get better job.
In Game : Finally level my go-fer paladin to level 85 and go nuts on farming.IRL : Get at least a part-time job and start saving up for the future. Also eat less fast food. And sleep more. And be less addicted to WoW.P.S. IG : Play more WoW.
In game: finally defeat Warmaster Blackhorn with my raid :/In the Reak Life: get a better-rewarded job!
