This mission turned out to be 12 days long for some reason. Has this happend to anyone else? my GM ticket suggests it was caused by a hazard-threat that wasn't countered, but my alt have the same mission and it say nothing about hazard in its mission threats, and its base duration is 3 days long.

You can send out more than one of these per activation of the Command Center, and the missions remain past the Center's destruction until the expiration time passes.

These missions do not have a bonus roll, so there's no reason to go above 100% success chance.

This is one of three Challenge Missions. They are Elite missions that take 3 days to complete, and each should be visible for 3 days before they expire. They can run longer if you get the Slowing mission threat, but you can shorten it if you have equipment or champions that can reduce mission duration. If I can't complete all 3 challenge missions, I try to plan it out so that the mission(s) I start have a mission duration reduction, then send them on the 2nd mission before it expires.

The three missions are:

Elite Strike: Lost Temple: Rewards Champion's Trophy
Elite Strike: Legion Supply Cache: Rewards 500 Legionfall War Supplies
Elite Strike: The Sentinax: Rewards 7500 Nethershard

These missions are available every time the command center is build, it's not based on the rotating 4th perk.

I have this quest today and it cost 4k Order resources? Bug?

Note: This mission (or perhaps all missions -- I haven't tested yet) has a minimum duration of 1 day -- or in this case, 67% duration reduction (assuming you counter any threat that extends the mission time). So If you try to build a mission duration reduction champion specialist for this mission alone like I did, hoping to knock a 72-hour mission down to, say, 3.6 hours (95% reduction), it doesn't work past 67% reduction~~, so there is no reason to get more mission reduction than that~~. It appears possible to get the mission time even lower if you have multiple champions with mission reduction gear/specialty, but I'm not sure how the calculation works.

Edit: Per darquis' comment below, it appears that multiple champions with mission reduction gear/specialty can reduce the mission time below the one-day floor (67% reduction) that I experienced. I hope to get a chance to test more soon.

This mission is not re spawning when you complete with reduced mission duration buffs and command center is still up as of the release week of Antorus raid. Its either a bug or "working as intended"

I was able to launch 7x those missions with my Mage couple of times (with 3x followers with 25% & 30% mission duration reduction). I think it would be possible to push even 8x, but it requires a lot of respawn monitoring effort. Would be good to have some add-on to notify when this mission respawns while I am in-game and await the respawn. Anybody know an addon which can actually do this? - Would save a lot of endless clicking on the Class Hall Report button (from my experience it can respawn anywhere beteen 2 and 5 hours).

Can anybody help and point out some usefull add-on for this?

Contrary to what Wowhead currently says, it does not award any Champion's Trophy. However at 250 Wakening Essence, this is the easiest way to farm up any Legion legendaries you might still want to get (perhaps for transmog). At least, it takes a whole lot less time than flying around for the Wakening Essence world quests.
