Evidently, it was too hard to get this to drop, seeing as the highest world mob droprate is currently a Venture Co. Shredder (Stranglethorn), and the rest are in Gnomeregan.

Though, in my opinion, two Essences of Fire is a little steep for such a seemingly insignificant reagent.

Personally i would have to say this schematic is completely useless. Since you can very easily farm the Fused Wiring from target dummys, there is absolutely no point in getting this schematic. If the mats were elemental fire or something, maybe. But as it is, it's in your best interest to buy the mats for the target dummies rather than buying two Essence of Fire, as well as this schematic.

From the 2.1 patch notes:
"Essences (Earth, Fire, Air, Water, Living) have had their drop rates significantly increased. Also Outland creatures that dropped motes will now have a chance of dropping essences as well."

With this change, I expect that 2 Essences of Fire won't be bad at all.

Put Everlook on "at war"
Killed the goblin

Don't try to get away from the guards because you can't.
While in combat, you cannot uncheck "At War", and they will follow you forever. They will not tether.

Get Naked, Kll Xizzer, Die, Run back, Profit.

This schematic is too inconvenient to get and requires a jewelcrafter made item (delicate copper wiring) besides.

There's an easier way:

Make some advanced target dummies: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=4392

Use the dummies. When they explode after about 15 seconds, loot them. They have a roughly 15-20% drop rate on Fused Wiring, in addition to dropping components to make more dummies with.

I would never use this schematic to make a fused wiring, the target dummy method is much better. I think the main reason any engineer would want this schematic is so it will get filtered out when looking for schematics on the auction house.

Once you learn it, it no longer shows up on the AH when using the "usable" check box. Frankly, it annoyed me to see it up there on the AH for 100g, so I went and killed that goblin in Winterspring, waited for him to respawn, then bought the schematic from him and learned it.

I've had a character parked at each vendor for months. Check at random when I think of it and I have never seen the pattern. I suspect that there are people who sit right on top of the re-stocks because these things are always in the auction house for 25-35G.

Patch 2.2:

Schematic: Fused Wiring: Vendors who sell this recipe will now properly restock it after a period of time.

However, it may be faster to kill the vendor and get it when he respawns.

1. it is impossible to kill the shattrath vendor.
2.the vendor is winterspring is killable.
3. confirmed, the schimatic restocks much faster now.

Edit: the timer is on about 10 min now, so the AH price will drop with about 75%.

Can anyone tell me where to get some fused wiring so i can make some Goblin Jumpers? I'm a lvl 43 hunter lvl 165 eng and a stack of fused wiring is like 10-15g on the AH. Wondering how some1 my lvl could get some.

And if you want to make fun of me cause my eng lvl is low for my lvl go ahead.

Note that a player built Compact Harvest Reaper has a 25% chance of dropping fused wiring.

Did as some had suggested and killed him (the vendor in everlook). He had the other 4 schematics but not the Fused Wireing, has anyone else had luck since 5.0 ?

Guy As off Patch 5.0.4 this Schematic can now be learnt from your engineering trainer.

No need to camp the vendors any more. I learnt this the hard way after spending almost 5 hours camping both the vendors.

Good thing my engineer is a Mage.

Aye, no need to go to War on Everlook and kill Fizz in 5.05.

I killed him not reading other comments and neither checking my engineering. After he respawned I didn't see the schematic so I was like WTF. Just before I went to kill him again I checked my Engineering and I already had it learned.

Is a little aggravating to me that engineering 165 goblin jumper cables require a part that requires 275 engineering to make.

As of patch 6.2 Feb 2016 this is still available and learned from any engineer trainer. To the person who changed it to obsolete.... get your facts right :)

Oh come on...!

I got the Schematic for the Goblin Jumper Cables at 170 but I can't make the Fused Wiring needed to make them until I get to 275!

Fused Wiring is given by Trainer.
