Endmire Flyer Tether can drop from Famu the Infinite in The Endmire Revendreth North of Darkhaven flight point.
It is hidden until you speak with Seeker Hilda to start the event.
After a couple of waves the rare will spawn, hard to solo.

The droprate is not 100% and right now rare has daily reset.

Rare is a part of Adventurer of Revendreth achievement.

Famu the Infinite isn't really soloable at this time. By mortals anyway. Seeker Hilda does keep fighting him after you die though. So if you're really patient, you ca wait around for the 10 minutes or so and let her weaken him before you tag him just in case.

Armored Bonehoof Tauralus - This can be bought from the Necrolord Renown Vendor OR rarely looted from the indariver as I was halfway through the list of mounts and found their comments which helped me finish up the other half of the list. :)

EDIT: The % changed from 1,16 to 0.98 % on Wowhead. On Rarity, it still says 1 in 100 drops.I personally still believe that 0.98 % is unlikely, as I didn't see a single drop, while killing him atleast 10-15 more times in a raid group of average 20 people.

Wowhead says that this mount has a 1.16 % drop chance, but I think that this is highly unlikely. Based on the sample size I think that this mount is a somewhere between 0.1 - 0.5 % drop.

I have been killing Famu on 3 characters for the past 2 weeks, which resulted in roughly 35-42 kills. 3*14 = 42, but I have missed some (Rarity wasn't working properly so I can't tell for sure).

Out of those, lets say for mathematical purposes, 35 attempts, I have always been in a group of 15-25 players. This equals to roughly 700 drop chances. (The average of 15 and 25 I took was 20, and I multiplied that by 35 --> 35*20 = 700).

Within those 700 drop chances, I have seen only 1 mount drop so far. If we would 100% trust those numbers, it would be 1 in 700, which equals to 0.14 % drop chance, but assuming people were saved to the mob, some left the group before looting and so on, I left the possibility of 0.1 to 0.5 % drop chance, which is far more likely, than 1.16 % drop chance.

125 Kills and nothing. This feels another Rustfeather mount hunt that took me 750 kills and yes I know "I killed him and got it on the first try" will be allot of responses. I will never be that person, blizz has unlucky flagged on all my characters.

31 Dec 21 - 161 and still nada (isn't RNG great)

02 Jan 21 - 177 still not a thing - rarity saying 83% chance. Right.

05 Jan 21 - 201 kills and getting pretty ticked off now. 88% chance now in rarity sure.

10 Jan 21 - 246 kills (rarity 91.53% chance) - this is so wrong.

12 Jan 21 - 259 kills, on my 3rd attempt after reset it shockingly dropped. After the Rustfeather fisaco and now this I think I'm done farming mounts with this kind of drop rate. I did however get lucky yesterday for sundancers mount on my second attempt. Best part of it dropping was it was on one of my 4 x 60s so I can even learn it right away (gorespine still sitting ona lvl 57 alt).

Unlike every other mount that drops from rares like warbringer, violet mistake, this one seems much more uncommon. I've seen 2 or maybe 3 drops in 20+ 15+man raids.

just looted this mount on my lvl 51 hunter who is Kyrian cov. and i can't train it, says im to low lvl, so you can loot it, assuming you have to be 60 to learn it.

I killed Famu for more then 400 times in groups, since the 2nd week the expansion came out, killing it with 3 characters nowadays every single day. I saw the mount dropping very very rarely. (about 5 times maximum). I already have all the other dorppable mounts and still going for this mount every day. And nada. going to kill it 400 times more before leaving it alone because of boredom.

Do not believe the wowhead drop %. Blizzard always set higher drop rates at the start of expansions and then stealth nerf the drop rates. This results in inaccurate drop rates until enough time has passed to give more accurate %. They do this to ensure that some people get the mount early and we see it in game. They then nerf the drop rate so the rest of us spend months grinding this.

Some people will still get this and other drops after only a few kills but most will end up farming it daily for months. I have killed this guy over 250 times with 3 characters and still not got it. The only reason i continue is because i started so i finish. Thats how they get you.

Do yourself a favour and dont start this or any other rare drop mount unless you really like the mount. This is just a recolour of an ugly mount and is not worth the grind.

Update .. Mount finally dropped after roughly 300 attempts

This mount is exactly the same as the Chittering Animite that is a reward from the Campaign: The Final Puzzle Mission Board Adventure, with the only difference being that this mount is quite a bit bigger than the Chittering Animite.

It finally dropped after 192 attempts, while farming with 6 characters daily! Thank god rarity takes screenshots, because IRL I was screaming '!@#$ you, it's finally over'.

No way in earth, is this mount 0.9% drop chance. I already posted a comment here and I stand by that 100%. In those 192 tries, I always killed him in a group, that consisted of minimum of 5 players, upwards to 20 players. In those 192 attempts, I have seen the mount maybe 10 times. This was the Rustfeather of Shadowlands 9.0.2.

Also on another note, this mob is insanely annoying to kill. Really glad this is over!

The 'Rare spawn' column of Shadowlands is now also 100% obtained! Really glad I achieved this before 9.1 drops.

I was able to learn it on my lvl51 Kyrian alt (but you can't summon the rare and can't even see if it's up below level 60). Dropped after 56 tries but I think I was super lucky because I only saw it drop 3 times during my farming.

514 kills and counting.
I've been doing it on 4 chars almost every day since August + on 2 more since early December, all level 60 and different covenants. I've seen mount dropping for around 20-25 people in groups during those kills.

Since this is the biggest number of kills posted here without dropping, I've had time to test one theory that I thought could somehow have an effect on mount dropping - Infused Rubies on 100/100. Very random, but wanted to test it out nevertheless. For last 150-200 kills I've been spending Infused rubies so I'm never on 100 when I loot Famu, but it seems that it doesn't matter after all.

They've really outdone themselves with mindless mount farming in this and last expansion. Some people like it, some people don't. I'm happy for those who still enjoy it, but I've decided it's time to spend more time on other things in life and end my 13 years collecting hobby here - and getting this mount will be the perfect ending!

EDIT: Dropped on 577th try, don't give up :)

I finally got this today on my hunter. I had killed this guy whenever possible for the past couple of months, but I really got hardcore with it this past few weeks. My entire alt army would log out at the spot before I went to bed at night, and killing Famu was the first thing they did (after the stupid daily holiday instance).

I found that I could easily and reliably get Famu on all 12 of my characters every day. The NPC respawns quickly, so I would just check the spot frequently. If you are playing with warmode off then it is very easy to find a group if he isn't up or to start a group if he is up.

This may change with 9.2, as a higher average gear level means that smaller groups can do it or it can even be solod by some tank classes.

I almost forgot before un-subbing for a while that I got this drop after an infuriatingly-low # of kills. I'm so sorry. It was like my....6th-7th kill, and only because I was waiting for the Blanchy spawn for that mount.

It's certainly a unique mount!

591 attempts and still counting. Currently this is my most farmed mount (as number of tries, not time invested).
If you are a starting new mount collector, I highly advise you to start farming this guy (it can be farmed on any 50-60 character) as the number of groups started to go down. And usually, it is easier during an expansion to farm the rares with higher spawn timer since there are groups or people to help. My advice is to also focus on Violet mistake mount and Ascdended Skymane since they will be very annoying to farm without groups/people to help.

Based on the comments, I'll consider myself lucky with this mount - although unlucky with a lot of others.

I recently returned to WoW after an expansion break (never played while Shadowlands was current). After reaching 70 in Dragonflight, I started working on quests in Shadowlands and stumbled across Blanchy while mount farming. I made it a habit to do Famu if the event popped. I was fortunate enough to have the Endmire Flyer drop on my 4th kill. I feel for those who have hundreds of kills.... but that is the way the of WoW RNG Gods. I have hundreds of kills of other rares & bosses and still no drops from them. Good luck and know that it will eventually drop for you,

After at least 375 attempts, finally got it. Used 2 accounts, 8 to 9 toons each day for last 3-4 weeks. Finally dropped.
