This is required to open a nearby treasure. When standing at the Anima Forge, it's directly east against one of the walls, among a collection of boxes and other anima containers. You're looking for a smaller canister, about 1/4 the size of the non-interactable ones.

Unstable Construct Anima is required to unlock Experimental Construct Part treasure chest which is needed for Treasures of Bastion.
To obtain this thing you need to carefully explore the area around the Forge. There you can see lots of blue barells of anima you cant interact with.
Unstable Construct Anima looks similar just smaller.
I found mine three times right of one of the giant colossus at 53.55 17.03, but some report its location may be different.

Experimental Construct Part is located north-east of Sagehaven flight point.
To get the treasure you have to find Unstable Construct Anima.
It can spawn in random location around the Eternal Forge.

Found one at 52.1 20.0 sitting on a trunk inside one of the small tent-like buildings. It left behind a Volatile Construct Core after I looted it, so they might spawn wherever you see one of those.

It seems to me that the chest you open (it's a glove) is always up by the forge. However, the 'rare' item is the unstable construct anima, which can rarely spawn in place of or nearby the many volatile centurion cores that lay about the area. I couldn't find an unstable construct anima, so decided to pick up random volatile centurion cores (and tossed them away), and eventually an unstable construct anima spawned. not sure if this was coincidence or if this is how it works.

Found at 51, 15. Once you have it go immediately to the forge and click on the glove that is there. This will repair the glove and let you loot the treasure..gloves of course lol

It's a jar, not one of the sunken baubles you can find anywhere. I found mine by running the perimeter. Can be anywhere you find those crates/jars.

I found this item today at coordinates 50.14
Behind the Forsworn Colossus are barrels.
The item is on the floor next to the barrels.

Found at 52,86 19,67 between some stuff. You'll see some blue barrels that look like they have blue lightning in them kinda. It look exactly like that, only 1/4 the size. Hope this helps.

Found mine in a tent looking thing /way 52.09, 20.02

Once you have it, the fist weapon is located on the side of the forge (not the two areas with the blue flames)

**Update: don't stand around and post where you found it on the forums here because you can only hold it for a short time then it disappears and you have to go looking again........as usual, no good deed unpunished. Also this thing is only an item level 146 and I didn't even get an appearance because apparently I had it already.

Maybe it's a phasing thing but I couldn't find it during the Venthyr quests with Mikanikos. I'd advise you to come check it at other times when it's not phased.

The pic from Itavia is the most helpful. It provides both a pic of the object and the similar, but larger ones, side by side.

I walked around seeing clicks for volatile constructs, tried it on the chest, and to no one's surprise, it didn't work. I finally did find the correct item at 49, 17, but only because I saw the correct item surrounded by other ones. For some people (ahem, me), visual learning is key. Mine was not near the similar, larger items, so would have been of no more value than the other three for depth perception and sizing purposes.

Be aware that only one person per party may loot the barrel. Was in a group and looted the Unstable Construct Anima. It disappeared and the others in my party could not loot it.

Of course, I find mine at the very back of the Centurion Army. Ugh...

I was able to fly behind them and get it and fly back to the forge.

I had been passed the exact location about four times before it finally showed up.
The one thing I did differently on this run-by was that I went back and clicked on the glove to ensure it was still there. I know in the past when looking for this, I had not done that.

Only two treasures are left - on my way to the Windsmith's Tools.

Like others, I found it with the stack of barrels behind the colossus. But the screen shot of the barrel is way misleading. It doesn't look like a barrel. Look at image in upper left: it looks more like a small flash (and thankfully surrounded by purple outline). OH, AND BY THE WAY ... IT ONLY LASTS 2 MINUTES! DON'T STOP TO TYPE IN WOWHEAD BEFORE TURNING IN or it will disappear and you'll have to find it in a new spot. (didn't take long though -- a couple mins to respawn).

I wondered if 'Volatile Centurion Core' being brought to the Forge to 100% causes the 'unstable construct anima' to spawn. Being that 1 in my part got the item, and no one else ever saw it spawn for quite some time.
