I hope this is the 'weapon raised' pose that happens when you use an Artifact Power item, so that we'll always be able to do that even after artifacts cease to be a thing.

This toy is awarded when completing the Order Hall continuation from the Broken Shore. It lasts for 5 mins, but you must stand still. Otherwise, the effect will be interrupted.

Don't know what it does but I need it. It could make my tauren pick his nose yet blizz calls it a toy and I'd have to possess it. @_@

This has made a Triumphant return in 7.2.5 from your order hall vendor for 1000 resources.

~~Was marked as "Deprecated", and does not appear in the Live 7.2 toybox. So, unlikely this made it out of the PTR unfortunately.~~

So apparently only you can see yourself doing the salute. I've asked two guildies if they see me doing a salute and they both said no. Kind of defeats the purpose and description of the toy.

I got this on live, a week or so ago. But I know others who didn't get it, and thus far GMs have been less than helpful--they don't know what the problem is. I'm Vengeance-specced, did all of the Suramar quests, have both specs' hidden appearances, and got Illidan back. I'm unsure if any of this is related.

I remembered getting this toy, although I couldn't remember for what--but recently checked out my Toy Box and didn't see it. I sent in a ticket and got this response from a GM today:

This is Game Master Thraildtia here, but you can call me Tia for short! Thanks for sticking with us here through some tough times. It's been a pleasure to get back to you on this one. I understand you've gotten the Champion's Salute Toy, but when you went to look for it, it was gone and you're not sure why. I can understand how frustrating this can be for sure, but no worries! I've looked into this and I do have news on what's going on here. :)

After further investigation it looks like this was rewarded to players due to a bug. With that being said, some players were rewarded with it when they completed the Order Hall campaign and others were not. This was already looked into by our Development Team and it looks like it was removed temporarily. It may make a return in the future, so keep an eye out for it later down the line. Beyond this, there's not much information on this matter. :(

As of 7.2.5, now for sale in your order hall by the same vendor that sells your class armor set, for 1000 order hall resources.

Can only work with Artifact equipped. Not usable with normal weapons and shield.

Tried with my Thunderfury.....

Little disappointed this only works when players are holding their artifact weapons. Makes it basically obsolete from levels 1-100 and potentially any levels after 110. I do hope Blizz redesigns this to simply strike the pose regardless of what weapon is in the MH.

This pose (sans light maybe) needs to be the visual counterpart to the long-standing /brandish text emote.

Guild mate and I noticed that we can't see each other in the pose but can see the buff applied? Anyone else that can verify the post only being visible to the player using the toy?

It doesn't work anymore in 8.0.1. I use it, it gives me the buff but nothing happens. Anyone else have this issue?

As of patch 8.3 this toy doesn't work with the Claws of Ursoc.

This toy doesn't seem to have any real stipulations for when it works or when it doesn't work. Two different Fire Mages attempted to use it. One could, the other could not. One couldn't see the toy working (and no one else could either), one couldn't see the toy working (but the rest of the party could). We tried a process of elimination with different equipment, mog, potions, anything that might interfere. Nothing consistently made it work or not work.

For myself it does not work on my characters at all no matter the spec or class. But for others in my party it worked just fine. And for some others in my party they had the same issue of it not working no matter what. I've sent in a ticket about it, but seeing as it's a toy its priority is pretty low.
