FYI for Transmog Fans:

The very popular Scarlet Crusade mail armor set, found in the Wowhead database under two listings, one listing is as an Item Set called Chain of the Scarlet Crusade and the other listing is as a Transmog Set called Chain of the Scarlet Crusade, which contained the following 6 individual pieces:

Scarlet Chestpiece
Scarlet Belt
Scarlet Leggings
Scarlet Gauntlets
Scarlet Boots
Scarlet Wristguards

With Legion the look of this set will become available as a transmog look as follows:

Mail armor ensemble, Ensemble: Chain of the Scarlet Crusade available for Hunter and Shaman
Plate armor ensemble, Ensemble: Scale of the Scarlet Crusade available for Warrior, Paladin, Death Knight.

Sold by the Scarlet Quartermaster at the Darkmoon Faire.Only available for sale while wearing the Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade as a mail wearer.

Well so I just bought the mail & plate set on my hunter/warrior and the tabard on my hunter (to get the apperance) and the tabard only shows up on my hunter, when I bought the plate set with my warrior afterwards and I mouseovered the tabard, it even says "not collected yet".

So blizz is telling me that this is like the ONLY tabard that is not acc-wide? I would have to farm the normal tabards on all of my chars AND buy the new one for 25k each? They can't be serious, I can just hope it's a bug.

Anyone else with this problem?

As an owner of the original set which i've been moggin for quite some time now, i feel a lil bummed that they're making it available again, even though the requirements are a lil tough to come by (The tabard is still a really low drop rate) I feel like making a replica or renewed mail version isnt needed, now the whole making it available for Plate wearers due to the way class armor types have changed in Legion sure. Offering the mail version to players who didnt obtain it when it was avail, seems unfair to those who have the originals. Not that it matters just my opinion on it. Though since we're getting a Scarlet Quartermaster it would be nice to see some cloth and leather scarlet themed mog sets available too.

So if you purchase this it just makes the whole 'set' a transmog?
There aren't separate pieces you get to individually transmog?

I just found out my lvl 72 Hunter has a full set of these appearances. FYI he was made only AFTER Legion, and I didn't buy the ensemble yet it's still in my collection.

Because no one has mentioned here..

At Darkmoon there is a Scarlet towards the back with the petting zoo.

Bring your hunter or shammy there while wearing the the tabard and you can buy the set.

So, I'm not sure if anyone else is having this "issue," (because it seems more convenient than it is an issue) but I only purchased the Ensemble: Scale of the Scarlet Crusade on my death knight, and after trying for hours to get the Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade on my hunter, I gave up. But recently, I logged into my hunter and I noticed I had all of the pieces of gear in my transmog collection that are in both of the ensembles (because both ensembles use the exact same pieces of gear, it's just that one is plate and one is mail). So, maybe by getting either the mail or plate ensemble, you actually get both? Can someone else support this, or am I just forgetting I actually bought Ensemble: Chain of the Scarlet Crusade on my hunter?

I made a Hunter and saw that I got this set. I didn't even had the tabard and certainly didn't bought the set.

Annoyingly I found that it says I already own the set, but it doesn't show up as a set when viewed in my collection. have to hunt through and find each piece individually.
