Sweet! I've already got my stage 3 gun and looks great, but I wonder if this will just be an ilvl upgrade, or if it'll upgrade the looks of the gun as well, I don't see how much better the gun could look, but meh, we'll have to wait and see what happens in 6.1

This is one of the upgrade items for the iLevel 630 epic guns that engineers can make and use.

*UPDATE for June 23, 2015* - Unstable Blackrock Rifling and Unstable Precision Scope Tuning Kit can no longer be crafted. Pre-patch 6.2 upgrade items (created before the patch) can be deconstructed to create the following:

As of 6.2, the new initial upgrade item will be True Iron Trigger (used for any and all upgrades until Stage 4). The upgrade items required for each stage are listed below:
Stage 1 to 2 (Item level 630 to 645) - True Iron Trigger
Stage 2 to 3 (Item level 645 to 660) - True Iron Trigger
Stage 3 to 4 (Item level 660 to 675) - True Iron Trigger
Stage 4 to 5 (Item level 675 to 690) - Advanced Muzzlesprocket
Stage 5 to 6 (Item level 690 to 705) - Taladite Firing Pin

**Note that 3 separate True Iron Trigger items are required to get from Stage 1 to Stage 4.**

Notes about the upgrade items:

The upgrade items themselves are BoE and can be traded or sold on the Auction House
They can be used by anyone (not just engineers)
Using an upgrade item on a gun will NOT bind it to you if it is not already bound to you
The upgrade item will NOT change the combination or proportion of stats on the item (e.g. if non-upgraded version has versatility and haste, the upgraded item will also have versatility and haste, just more of each stat)
These items can be used on gear that is already equipped
These upgrade items are exclusively crafted by Engineers - you cannot craft them as a non-Engineering, even with the Engineering works building in your garrison
The Savage Blood used for upgrades to Stage 2, 3 and 4 are obtained from the Garrison Barn, crafted by alchemists as a daily cooldown, or purchased from "Appraiser" Sazsel Stickyfingers (H)/Ashley Zerep (A) in your garrison for 25 Primal Spirit each
The Felblight used for upgrades to Stage 5 and 6 are obtained from mining, herb gathering, skinning, or fishing in Tanaan Jungle

Notes about the Engineering guns (Shrediron's Shredder):

They are BoE and can be sold on the Auction House or traded
They DO NOT require Engineering to use
They can be equipped at Level 91
The guns require 100 Gearspring Parts to craft
The gun will be crafted with +93-139 each of two random secondary stats (chosen out of Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, Versatility or Multistrike)
The secondary stats can be re-rolled (randomly reselected) using the consumable item Didi's Delicate Assembly (1 item required per re-roll)
The quantity of secondary stats when crafted is random as well (e.g. one item may have +133 crit and +104 haste, while another of the same type may have +130 crit and +110 haste)
The gun changes in appearance to be more elaborate as it is upgraded, with the addition of a scope, bayonet, and various golden scrollwork accents
The gun counts towards 1 of the 3 maximum Warlords of Draenor crafted items that you can have equipped at one time

In addition to the True Iron Trigger, using this will also give you Savage Blood, Sorcerous Earth, and...BoP Gearspring Parts, so use it on a character with Engineering.
