Siphon Storm, Radiant Spark, and Orb Barrage capstones. These specific builds are tailored around each dungeon's trash and boss needs with regards to needed dispels, crowd control, or damage preferences. However, don't be afraid to experiment, especially in coordination with your groups needs.

As a rule of thumb, Greater Invisibility, Mass Barrier, Prismatic Barrier, Mirror Image, Alter Time, and Ice Cold should be used liberally in all of these dungeons. Additionally, do not forget you have great utility to stop enemy casters from finishing their deadly abilities, use Dragon's Breath, Blast Wave, Counterspell, and if you feel the need to talent it, Supernova. Ring of Frost can also be used as a solid stop, try timing it before enemies start casting the spell you want to stop - a good enemy health bar weakaura or Plater profile can help with this.

The below isn't an all-inclusive list of mechanics, just those that are leverageable and have been documented elsewhere.

Keep in mind since Dawn of the Infinite is not a mythic+ that you can change talents at any time, but overall the difficulty scaling on this will be capped.

Dungeon specific Notes

Ruby Life Pools

Spellsteal should be used a ton in this dungeon, most things give you a solid buff, absorb shield, or instant kill mobs that put up shielding as they die. But there is one enemy buff in particular which kills you, Burning Veins, avoid stealing this unless you know the healer can keep you up through it!
Alter Time is very adept at dealing with the first boss mechanic when you get selected to have to move out.
Ruby Life Pools has some intense caster pulls around the ring, ensure that you use your stops as much as possible, preferably in coordination with your group.
Ensure you use your cooldowns wisely on the last boss to both kill the dragon as soon as possible but also to not get ranged by the dragon during your damage window.

Nokhud Offensive

Ring of Frost is insanely good in the opening part of this dungeon to stop the charge attacks on people which eliminates a lot of the risk of these pulls.
Spellsteal the small elementals near the 2nd boss for a huge stacking defensive - make sure your party members know to not dispel these as the shield is so large and last so long that you can use it throughout the boss fight! Spellsteal is also useful on the boss to stop your tank from getting ruined by the boss.
Greater Invisibility will cause the last boss to fizzle (use the cooldown of an ability but not generate any of the effects) his spear attacks.
Make sure to juggle stops on the last boss adds, Polymorph one of them and mark it if you can.

Halls of Infusion

Energized Barriers has a couple of important uses in this dungeon as the orb beams in the opening pulls are a slow as are the dragon aoe attack after the frog boss. Clearing the slow will also cancel out the other effects on these abilities.
Polymorph an infuser on the last boss after intermission, you can also juggle another infuser between your many crowd control abilities, but do not do this unless you are confident you can, the cast is very dangerous.

Brackenhide Hollow

Be careful with Spellsteal here, the spell increase buff comes with a heavier damage taken. Make sure to steal the first bosses heal when if no one kicks it.
Ring of Frost and Blast Wave work very well to keep mobs grouped up when they try to run away at low health.
Greater Invisibility works to fizzle Savage Charge and Marked for Butchery on the first boss.
Ice Block breaks Consume on Treemouth, however given how good Ice Cold is, it will likely depend on timings and key level for if you want to consider not taking Breath of Senegos.
On higher keystones it is my recommendation to save Radiant Spark for totems on the last boss, having damage for this matters more than having damage overall; this would not mean holding Touch of the Magi, just Radiant Spark.

Algeth'ar Academy

Once again, Greater Invisibility comes in handy to stop the charging insects in the opening pulls of this dungeon.
Ice Block is useful in a couple of places here, first to drop stacks on the tree boss and then again on the bird boss. It is worth noting that doing the tree boss well and the bird boss fast negates any need for this. I won't have it in the default builds but you should be mindful that the tool is available.
Chrono Shift can also be worth considering here as the power in movement can't be overstated on the later pulls.

Neltharus

Spellsteal is amazing on the elementals, the shield is huge and stacks!
Greater Invisibility works on multiple boss abilities to fizzle the spell and drop targeting, however note that the last boss ability will just retarget another player.
We take Remove Curse here for the last boss alone.

Uldaman, Legacy of Tyr

Again we take Remove Curse here for Curse of Stone from the trash caster earthen, Energized Barriers also will remove this from ourselves.
On higher keystones it is my recommendation to save Radiant Spark for totems on the second boss, having damage for this matters more than having damage overall; this would not mean holding Touch of the Magi, just Radiant Spark.
Energized Barriers also removes the last boss slowing debuff and stops the damage.
There are a bunch of spells to steal here, most notably Hasten from the infinites later in the dungeon.

The Azure Vault

Spellsteal is great for the giant elementals which gives you a huge damage increase.
Avoid using your Touch of the Magi on the enemies that use Brilliant Scales. If you can, Spellsteal it, but if the pull is large enough this may not be worth the global as it only last for 10 seconds.
Greater Invisibility will fizzle the third bosses beam attack.

Dawn of the Infinites (This is not available on Mythic+)

Spellsteal can be used to stop Enervate.
There is a dodgeable ground effect that gives players a curse, Remove Curse can help with this but really players should avoid getting hit.
On the second boss, Greater Invisibility can be used to fizzle Corrosive Infusion. Additionally, Necrofrost can be dealt with multiple ways, either by using Blink, hitting the frost with Dragon's Breath, or by using Greater Invisibility during the cast.
Greater Invisibility can also be used on the last boss to negate the Extinction Blast Iridikon casts on players.
Spellsteal can be used to remove a large absorb shield from trash.
Energized Barriers removes the Infinite Riftmage's debuff from Infinite Burn.
There is a dodgeable ground effect that gives players a curse, Remove Curse can help with this but really players should avoid getting hit.
Chromie is a great boss for Ring of Frost and a subsequent Mass Polymorph if you're bold enough to take it.
Greater Invisibility can be used to fizzle Serrated Axe on the horde/alliance boss fight.
Make sure to target one of the caster guys on the last trash pull.

Arcane Mage Affix Cheat Sheet

Arcane Mages have many unique tools to deal with Dungeon affixes and even a few to help their group with them. You can check a couple of highlights below.

Dealing with Weekly Affixes as an Arcane Mage

Frost Mages have many different tools to deal with Dungeon affixes and to help their group with them. Below are some tips for how to deal with each affix.

Use Remove Curse to remove Cursed Spirit from one Afflicted Soul. If an Afflicted Cry cast is going to complete, either break line of sight to avoid the debuff or use Ice Block to remove it.

If you do not want to move, trigger Energized Barriers with Prismatic Barrier to remove this. Otherwise, simply move out of the circle with Blink/Shimmer, Ice Floes, or free GCDs.

Use crowd control effects such as Polymorph to stop multiple Destabilize casts as quickly as possible. You should coordinate to use all crowd control effects avaiable to your group efficiently. If a lone Incorporeal Being is going to finish its cast, you can interrupt it with Counterspell.

Make sure to not Frost Nova or slow as mobs die to reduce the healing they receive from Sanguine puddles to a minimum. Use Blast Wave to knock mobs away from pools.

When enemies have many stacks of Bolstering, be especially careful to ensure that dangerous casts do not complete and be ready to use defensive cooldowns like Alter Time, Greater Invisibility, and Ice Block to survive.Arcane Bombardment is a great tool here to shorten Bolstering times!

Use strong defensive cooldowns like Alter Time, Greater Invisibility, and Ice Block to survive if you get many stacks of Bursting at once.

When trash mobs reach low HP, Raging can be sometimes make them very dangerous because you cannot stop an important cast. Against enemies where that is a possibility, be ready to use defensive cooldowns like Alter Time, Greater Invisibility, and Ice Block to survive. Arcane Bombardment is a great tool here to shorten Raging times!

Keep your distance from a Spiteful Shade when it's fixating you: stay out of it's melee range or it can kill you very quickly. Often groups will kill these, but if you communicate or telegraph the use of Ring of Frost, Frost Nova, Ice Nova as well as other group crowd controls you can leave these behind as you move to new packs.

Storming can not be ignored as an Arcane Mage. Keep an eye on them and get out of the way. Use Ice Floes or Shimmer or free GCDs liberally for this. Sometimes you can even just eat them during your AOE rotation since you have so many GCDs.

Volcanic is a relatively simple affix. Make sure to move out of Volcanic Plume if it spawns under your feet. Ice Floes and Shimmer are invaluable here!

Arcane Mage Viability In Mythic+

Arcane looks to be like a strong ranged dps for season 4 of Dragonflight dungeons.

Something a lot of new arcane mages will struggle on is getting the rotation right while dealing with the amount of move conditions in this season, my advice is to not worry about small mistakes and really just focus on getting the surge window just right, a significant amount of your damage will come during this time.

The absolute best place to learn, interact with others, and find the most current and up-to-date resources is always the Altered-Time discord.

Strengths	Weaknesses

Arcane Mage Mythic+ Utility

Stopping casts in dungeons can be important and Mages have multiple convenient tools to achieve this.

Counterspell is a generic interrupt and is also tied for the longest school lockout of any player interrupt.
Dragon's Breath is an AoE disorient that can be used to stop casts that normal interrupts do not work on or to provide supplemental interrupts when your group is overwhelmed.
Blast Wave is a short-range AoE knockback that can also be used to stop casts if needed, similar to Dragon's Breath. Note that if you plan to use it heavily for this purpose, you may wish to skip the Volatile Detonation talent.

Spellsteal: Many mobs cast powerful Magic effects that you can steal to gain benefits. The most significant of these are usually damage buffs and large absorb shields.

Remove Curse: Curses in dungeons are often deadly and Mages are one of the classes that can negate them by only spending a GCD. Keep an eye out for Curses that are killing or inconveniencing your group and make sure to remove them.

Arcane Intellect: A 5% Intellect buff for your party. Even if you are playing with two physical DPS, this will still always at least help your healer.

Time Warp: It is significant for every group to have access to at least one specialization with a Bloodlust-like effect.

Polymorph: This only works on Humanoids and Beasts, but has various niche uses such as controlling difficult mobs, healing a target that should not be dying yet, and stopping casts. Additionally, you can use this to let you group skip packs situationally. The first player who gets close to the sheep will aggro just the sheep and be in combat, but other players will not enter combat once one player does. If you are the one to aggro the sheep, you can exit combat with Invisibility or Greater Invisibility.

Mass Barrier is a helpful defensive cooldown for your entire party, this is particularly strong as Arcane as it propagates the damage reduction from Prismatic Barrier.

Mass Invisibility can be used to skip trash packs.

Mass Polymorph: While it is not without any risks, it is entirely possible to start casting Mass Polymorph, and either walk in to an enemy pack using Ice Floes or to Shimmer in before the cast completes. Once a pack is under the effects of Polymorph, they will only retain combat with the first player in range of them, this means your group can now walk by the pack without being pulled into combat. And now that your group is safe, you can simply use Invisibility to reset the pack

Ice Nova & Ring of Frost: We also have Ice Nova, Ring of Frost, and Frost Nova to stop enemies in their tracks allow the tank critical time to recover or stop a charge.
