Maxdps-like site for Tankadins

Anyone know a character auditor website for tanking paladins? It would be great if there was something on the same model as maxdps.com, showing the next best option for each slot, etc... Trying to find something with no success...
Otherwise I'll just stick to wowhead search :)

No offence but using maxdps is like asking your newborn infant which piece to use.
Either he's going to say "ga?" and look at you like you're the one born yesterday.
Or he's going to point at one randomly and still look at you like you were born yesterday.
Use addons like tankpoints and ratingbuster they're alot of help and will give you more accurate information.

I do use them but a site like maxdps is good for planning... Ratingbuster isn't really a help on that matter since u have to in the game for that...
Seeing stuff on a website is much better when u are "woking" lol :P

Not sure what could help you then. There are alot of gearing up lists spread across the forums here and at maintakadin also one at EJ i think. I used a site before that kinda reminded of maxdps/wowhero but cant remember the name. Dont think it would give specific gear upgrades though. It would tell you what needed fixing etc.. if i remember correctly.

Yep, I don't think there's anything specific, specially about tanking... Guess I'll just have to stick to searching and taking notes... I think I just have to drop the ol DPS lazyness...

The thing is, DPS is relatively straightforward. If you make X change in your gear, your stats change by Y and your damage output should be Z.
Tanking can't really be calculated in this way. You're balancing your defense and health, and what works best in a given encounter depends on what kind of damage you will be taking.
Read Maintankadin.
But RAWR still lets you test gear you havent aquired yet, to see how its gonna affect the performance of your character in dodge/parry/block/bv and theoric threat.
So it WILL tell you IF that piece of gear/gemming/enchant you want to get for a specific encounter will grant you the stats you're looking for.
