Your not going to beat a ret paladin unless you outgear them, or are very good with your class. They have heavier armor, and hit harder then an enhance shaman, and possess far better defensive cooldowns. It really points out the broken PvP spec that enhance is.

Grounding, ghost wolf and run for aid. He wont be able to catch you until he mounts up.
I do the same when i meet an aff lock that starts kiting me. I just run the opposite direction :P

I play a ret pally and i'll admit i do feel a tad OP, the burst we have is freaking ridiculous.
As to the OP, and a few other posters, i've no idea where you are getting this idea of a stunlock from. We are not rogues/feral duids. We have one Stun. Hammer, trinket out of this and then the "stunlock" is over. As for repentance, well it breaks on damage, hardly a real part of a stunlock combo. Grounding totem works against both of these moves, so with that and a trinket you should be singing sweetly, especially if the pally is stupid enough to open with stun when/if you have a grounding totem down.
Frost shock kiting, how do you do this with HoF? guessing purge spam and frostshock kiting... even so with BoM, RF, Sacred sheild, vengence and AoW proc's up, dispelling that HoF will be no easy task.
Ghostwolf wont help you all that much as said paladin if he has common sense should open up with Judgement of justice thus destroying your speed increase.
As for a real tactic to beat a retridin... try to avoid getting right up and going for a burst war, you are almost 90% going to lose this. Drop grounding totems to negate stuns/trinket out of HoJ asap, most rets can easily do 15K+ in the duration of a HoJ stun. You'll have a hard time kiting, even with purge but give it a go anyway, would seem to be the best idea. Purging AoW procs is key aswell, you want all your damage to count :) Oh and never turn your back if you're in melee range, avoidance through parry is paramount if you do end up in their faces :)
Oh and i dunno much about enha shammies at all, but seeings you're gonna be trying to simply survive the opening salvo of attacks, would equipping a sheild be worth a shot, seems liek a good idea to me...

Isn't JoJ movement impairing effect? If so, it is dispelled by talented Earthbind Totem.
Judgement of Justice does not count as a movement impairing effect.

Which is why druids can't shift out of it either.
