Thanks for the advice, I already am very interested in Biology and am hoping to become a virologist someday. You'll never guess who my hero is (unless you read the "who's your hero" thread)... It's... Gregory House, of course.
And I know a lot of muslims, and my father knows even more about the religion than I do, and it just doesn't seem right for me.

Well, I wouldn't judge the whole religion by a few people (who might be close minded). Anyway, biology should give you sufficient purpose to live for, I hope you sort your life out and that everything turns our all right =).

Well, my dad spent a year in Iraq and two years in Afghanistan (as a friend of President Karzhai), and my brother goes to a school mostly populated by Muslim Turks, so even if my perspective is limited, I would say that I still know a fair amount.
And my issue is that even if science is the only thing we can trust, why? What's the point if it doesn't matter what we accomplish?

I don't know mate, but living a good life and giving others a good life should be a cause for everyone. And I have just been watching videos about the big bang and stuff. Why do you not believe in God? No one knows what happened in the beginning of the universe.

Why do you play WoW (assuming you do) if you know its for nothing? Because you enjoy it. Enjoy life, or put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger (well, you shouldn't do that if you have a family, but I doubt you do if you have that attitude).

To answer ASHelmy's question, I don't believe in god because nothing I have experience or know gives any evidence that one exists. My own personal experience would indicate that if there is a god, he doesn't care about me. So either way...
And Mediator, the reason I play WoW is mainly as a distraction. I don't feel depressed if I'm distracted from my feelings toward the universe. Same reason I watch TV, it numbs me. Like I said in my previous post, the only reason I haven't bypassed my life is that it would hurt the people around me, or specifically, my mother, the only person I do truly care about (and I've of course had to come to terms with the fact that she's going to die too). The other reason is that I lack the drive to actually kill myself. I fear death even more than I hate life, the only reason I even consider it is because it's inevitable.
And as for living a good life as a goal... Why? That's the ultimate question, and there's no easy answer.

I still don't get it, how and why can you say that?

In response to the title.
I have little to no opinion....as I am also a non-believer.

That god (if he exists) doesn't care about you.

To reply on the whole "why live?"-theme.
The meaning of life is to give life meaning.
What "meaning" means, is individual.

Well, I'm not a religious person, aka. I don't believe in god(s), but I more or less never talk about anything religion related. I'm not going to bash anyone for their religion, people can think the way they want. But as soon as someone starts "offering" me a religion, I get very annoyed, as it kinda "violates" my "everyone can believe in whatever they want"-opinion. :o
And I wars fueled by religions ridiculous.

Why don't you do this instead? Everything you say is a flame and of void of any value.
He's not suicidal, and you're not convincing anyone of anything other than you are a jackass.
I really don't understand where you draw your arguments from, they're completely unrelated to what has been said. Like when you said that if feared death or whatever I should freeze myself: where the hell did that come from? I never said anything about death or being scared of it, and I said I wasn't ^&*!ed off about life but you seem to be stuck on the fact that we're atheists so we must inherently hate the world.
The only relationship that atheists really have with one another is that we don't believe in a deity, nothing more; you can't pool us together and say that we want everything dead and all those ridiculous things.
If anyone should die is idiots like you.
That comment about suspended animation was more oriented toward Skeeran, no big deal most of the people here figured that's what I was getting at. Anyways, I'm simply saying if he's qq'ing about life not worth living because it has no purpose, maybe he should stop doing it, and leave the rest of us to it.

And in response to ASHelmy, the biggest factor in my disbelief/belief in indifference is that back when I did believe, and my faith was really in trouble, I really needed to know that god was on my side, and I needed help, but there was nothing. No sign, no response, nothing changed. And from then on my faith in a higher power fell steadily until I decided that there must not be a god, or if there was one he wasn't going to help me.
