pointless. use the food on something that needs the strength.
...and even then only if you
really
want to squeeze every ounce of dps out of the situation. the pet food buff is incredibly minor even for a pet like FG that makes the most of it.

Our pets dont need food. They eat at their own dimension... Other than that it is...
pointless. use the food on something that needs the strength.

I think scrolls are better for buffing your pet. When I was demo I'd always put a scroll of strength on my felguard.

scrolls would be good but they don't stack with group buffs. in this case a scroll of strength will get overwritten by the shaman totem or DK horn.
food buffs are separate and stack.
int < mage
spirit < priest
stam < priest
agi < DK
armour < druid

Kibler's bits are incredibly cheap - you'll pick them up for 1-3g a stack if you keep an eye out. Asa is right in that they dont make much difference, but bang for buck they're better than 46spell power food at 90g a stack :P
