There is right and wrong, its just really cloudy when you have to consider all the factors of a situation. Although you may do the right thing, others may call you evil, and sometimes you just have to accept that, because our world isn't perfect.

I think religion is evil tbh
I sort of agree. It brainwashes people, it tells people that murder is acceptable if you're doing it for whatever god you worship, it blocks the advancement of science.
I have no problem with someone who has faith but not let them change who they are. Once they start letting that manipulate who they are, then its going too far. MyTie is a great example, I'm sure he was a good person once but he's let himself become warped by fear of going to hell that he believes that seeking out your revenge and killing is acceptable.

When he creates a debate or starts something, it's because he puts himself in that person's shoes.
I doubt it, considering his attitude in the legalizing cocaine thread, I seriously doubt he has any idea how bad some of the harder drugs really are. My brother-in-law died of a heroin overdose; he was a good guy, and he treated my sister great, he just had that one flaw - that he liked to use drugs - and it cost him his life, and caused my sister endless grief. No, its not just the addict who suffers the consequences, its his family too, and MyTie's lack of concern for others when considering making drugs more accessible...
No, just no.

My sisters a heroin addict and my brother was addicted to cocaine and ecstacy.

Anyways, my point was just that it seems to me that he doesn't consider the other side, about the people actually addicted to these drugs, and only cares about what takes money out of the drug dealers pockets at any costs. That lack of concern, in my opinion, comes from his religion - he doesn't look at the other people and how it effects them, only what is "right" by his god.

This thread is already getting out of control. It's a good solid debate, and one I'd like to get involved in at some point, but lets try again in a little while when tempers aren't flaring.
