Dalaran is the only place you cannot fly in in Northrend, that and Wintergrasp.

I'm glad they dont have flying mounts in Dala, some sense of order there.
wish they would do the same in Naxx, within the circle around the meeting stone. it's such a pain having 15 ppl on Drakes in there while trying to summon.

in wintergrasp it would be unfair in pvp to have a flying mount
in dalaran it would be annoying and the lag would be unbearable.

As far as Naxx is concerned I wish they just put the meeting stone INSIDE the instance in the center ring. It is a madhouse trying to summon if you dont have a warlock to do so inside.
Back to the original point, as said above the only two no flight zones in Northrend are Dalaran and Wintergrasp. In theory when they dismount you they provide you with a parachute to float you safely to the ground but it can glitch and just drop you like a rock. Be sure to be careful when flying around these areas to avoid being dismounted unexpectedly.

well.. how would you get down then, if you can't mount up there? gg repairs bills if you don't have anything along the lines of slowfall or bubble
and in WG it has to be a non-fly zone, imagine how the fight would look like if you could fly :/

Do not think it would be too much hazzle to just use something blizz already coded and it would make some sense bcs you usually enter a scourge fortress like that(ZD ziggurat or borean zigurat for example):)

It's really not a big deal. If you were Rhonin would you honestly let people fly through your city on animals with wings the width of the streets?
To heck with with wings blocking up the Dalaran streets. You've seen what pigeons can do to a city - now imagine the same with dragons, gryphons, and wyverns.

Plus Dalaran is relatively small compared to shat and there are no long pathways to get up cliffs, so in dalaran the only bonus to using a flying mount would be going faster (In shat there are a few levels that are anoying without a flyer)
You cant fly in wintersgrasp for obious reasons
I gotta say I feel you are complaining over nothing, Dalaran is simply too small to be able to use flying mount inside and if you want to show off your flyer you can go on the landing by the flight master.

Yeah cause It does not make sense that we can fly to one of the strongest ((lore wise, not lol free epixz wise)) scourge out posts ON A PROTO DRAKE whistling a happy toon, and not get shot down.
