Frost mages are OP right now. They are so hard to kill it's just dumb. Frost mage/ret pally is one of the very few comps that can consistantly beat mine(Haunt warlock/feral druid). They just have too many oshi buttons. The mage and pally both being able to remove all DoT's the warlock puts up drastically reduces his DPS and survivability. Lets not forget how much damage a frost mage can absorb thru his ice barrier and mana shield.

I've never really seen a mage + healer combo succeed well, so i won't comment on that. Usually if there's a mage, its a dual dps group
Rogue partner is still your best bet. He offers great control, and the ability to pressure healers with a MS effect, and has an easy reset button if things go bad against a dps/heals team. Its more versatile in that it can handle a larger variety of comps then say........ mage/ret can due to its better CC control. If mage/ret doesnt kill 1 instantly, the ret doesn't have a good way to reset and is also prone to kiting, which the rogue will not be due to poisons.
