Feral druids are fun when you get Cat Form at level 20. It's really fun to watch things bleed to death (such as other players), and it's also nice you can stealth around in cat form (awesome to avoid some mobs in quest areas).

A druid's power grows exponentially; every couple of levels you'll get better, harder-hitting abilities. Right now I can solo up to 10 mobs in bear form and normal gear and end up with more health than I started off with. Add the dual spec function up to that and you can really do
anything
. I must say - druids are the most versatile class I've played and it's awesome. :-)

Oh boy. If you thought Priest was bad (and you haven't even hit level 20), your going to have a hard time with druid, because the first 20 levels of druid are more painful then the first 20 levels of any other class. If you can grind it out and stick with it, its great; If your not sure, i would roll a rogue and try it out a little first. Feral levels a lot like a rogue, except we don't have to bandage or eat as much as them (so we level a bit faster)

As soon as we hit cat form, our downtime becomes practically non-existant(existent?). The only problem I've seen with druids is we don't have that extra survivability some classes have (rogues with vanish for example).

The tradeoff to this is that after level 20, it becomes smooth sailing. Of the non-DK classes, I'd have to say feral druid, hunter, and affliction warlock were the easiest for me to level, though the hunter and the lock were pre-WotLK and are still sitting at 70.
Once you have Imp LotP, Mangle, and OOC, it's really ridiculous how easy it is to kill stuff with zero downtime. Toss Savage Roar into the mix at 75 and it gets even easier.

You've obviously never leveled a priest. I've done both and the first 25 levels of being a priest is by far worse. Smite, smite, smite, drink, smite, smite is PAINFUL leveling. At least after level 10 as a feral druid you can level like a warrior.
Right now, I'm working on leveling my 76 feral and I forgot how fun it was. I don't even stealth anymore, I just kill stuff. Good times.

Feral druid are gay... never have to drink nor eat, same dps as rogue and can even go on elites just like almost any other mobs... so yea...very fun and easy...

The only problem I ever have with leveling a feral is trying to get a Tauren thru The Barrens. It makes your eyes bleed. No joke. Running around in the barrens with no mount, cat form, or travel form is horribly slow.

I loved leveling my druid more than anything else (and I had a rogue/pally/priest at high levels). Especially at lower levels they have no downtime really, you kill a few guys in a row as a kitty and then pop in to caster form and heal yourself back to full. Rinse and repeat.
And also among those classes I listed above I like druids best overall, kind of for the same reason, versatility. You'll be able to do basically anything you want to, meele/caster DPS, tank/healer. Its all there. Go druids!
