Thanks to

on another thread, discovered this little blog, which is not only fun and well written, but also offers some neatly presented technical posts :
http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com/page/2/
On this page, we fellow hunters can find stats weight information well summed up, which can be made using EJ spreadsheet, but for those too lazy to do it, it can be much faster :) As myself...
Here, thought it could be useful, and since I don't want to shamelessly copy paste his text here, thought I'd put some burden on their bandwidth instead :)
Finally made me realize that Agility was so much more than 2 ap... Gonna make sure I do not have any single ap half gem on my stuff. Ever :) Even if it saves me 20 gold ... ;)
ps : lower down the same page is a nice 'dps study' on glyph values for SV spec. Might be useful checking also:)

Well, I don't want any blame to fall on them, and I don't think that they are claiming a theorycrafter status, but I still think they do present the theory pretty clearly, and that s the goal of my link to their website ;)
The glyph post is also very enlightening, and made me decide to try and drop the 'holy' Serpent Sting glyph.
Gonna make a check with this spec and glyphing, and see what it looks like compared to old one:

ps : not haste soft capped, don't think this build would be as interesting for someone capped.

Somebody help me with the math/logic here b/c I'm a bit unclear as to how they come up with 1 pt of stamina = .55 AP.
There are two advantages of stamina for a SV hunter:
1) You get a small AP boost through the Survivalist and Hunter vs Wild talents.
2) Helps us not die b/c dead hunters do no DPS
Since the spreadsheet (which they used to get this data) doesn't account for a chance to die and since MM and BM are both listed as 0 AP per point of stamina, we can safely eliminate #2 as a factor in this calculation.
Plus, dying doesn't really hurt your DPS anyway, just your total damage done and your raid's chances of winning.
That leaves us with the AP boost from the talents which should be (unbuffed):
(1*1.1)*0.3 = .33.
Assuming you get buffed with Kings, it should be:
((1*1.1)*1.1))*.3 = .363
What am i missing?
