((See the First Night
here.))
Kul'gosh tossed another stick on to the fire, sending sparks up into the sky to join with the stars. The crickets chirped under their dark rocks, and the fireflies winked among the tall, dry grass. The wind blew gently through the air, rattling the branches of the tree that Kul'gosh was resting against. The earth spirit whispered in his ear, telling of the approach of some creatures. Vague shadows materialized into Orc children in the light of his fire. The old shaman smiled and said,
"Come back to hear my story have you?" The children's small, green faces lit up with large smiles as they nodded happily. They all gathered around Kul'gosh's fire and sat down.
"Do you remember what I told you last night?" he asked. The children all started babbling at once.
"A demonic monster!" "Another world!" "An evil group!"Kul'gosh chuckled and held up his hands to stem the flow.
"Only one of you tell me. Answer me," he said, pointing to one of the children.
"Do you remember?" The boy nodded solemnly and replied,
"Yes old one! You told us how we came from another world called Daener . . . Droner . . . errr . . .""Draenor.""Yeah, that was it! Draenor! And you told us that our people were betrayed by some evil Orc under the influence of demons and how they opened up a portal to Azeroth to invade it!" the child said quickly.
Kul'gosh nodded.
"Even so, even so. My group was supposed to be a scouting group, yet the moment we left our world, everything went wrong . . ."Kul'gosh stepped through the doorway and waited. In front of him and a little ways down the hall was a tall Orc with a large sword strapped to his back. He was leaning forward over a large, beaten up table and surveying a large number of notes. One of the Grunts walked towards the Blademaster and whispered something in his ear. The Blademaster turned around and gazed at Kul'gosh, the flickering torchlight revealed a large scar running a little ways from under his left eye and across his face to the right side of his chin and that split his two lips into four. Kul'gosh stepped forward and placed his right fist over his heart and bowed low.
"Blademaster Hur'gun, I am the Shaman Kul'gosh. It is an honor to serve under one as famous a warrior as you." Kul'gosh said.
"Throm-ka Shaman. I likewise have heard much about you." Hur'gun said in a booming voice.
Hur'gun motioned for him to step up towards the table.
"Have you been briefed about our mission yet?" Hur'gun asked. When Kul'gosh shook his head Hur'gun picked up a cracked and faded
map up from the table and pointed at it saying,
"Very well. He we are at Hellfire Citadel. We are to march east out into the peninsula. At the end of the peninsula, in between the arms of the mountains is where we are supposed to go. An emissary from the Shadow Council will meet us there and give us further orders. From the supplies I've been told to gather, I'm guessing it is some sort of scouting mission. Possibly to scout out some Draenei stronghold on the opposite shore of the Devouring Sea. The filthy scum." Hur'gun turned his head and spat, narrowly missing the feet of a Grunt. Kul'gosh nodded,
“I'll go pack my things then.” he said. The Blademaster waved his assent for him to leave,
“Very well, we move out at dawn tomorrow.”They reached the encampment later the next day, around the time of dusk just as the sun was sinking behind the mountains. Blademaster Hur'gun had pressed them hard so that they could make the trip in one day, and they were all dusty and tired. In between the cleft in the mountains was a large stone doorway, standing out in the middle of nowhere, all by itself. A few of the group exchanged puzzled glances among themselves, yet before anyone could make a comment a being stepped forth from a pavilion erected nearby. It was clothed in deep, dusky purple robes and carried a tall, bone staff. One of the Shadow Council. A few of the group (including Kul'gosh) shuddered as the Warlock's malevolent aurora washed over them. Kul'gosh quietly muttered for the Earth to give them
strength. Hur'gun motioned for the company to stop and rest here while he went to discuss things with the Warlock. Both the Warlock and the Blademaster retreated to the pavilion to talk things over, a few of the scouts muttering amongst themselves about how the Blademaster was going to be sacrificed to demons by the Warlocks. But their fears were put to rest a few hours later when Hur'gun stepped forth from the pavilion and walked over to join them. From the look on his face, Kul'gosh knew something was about to happen that he wouldn't like.
"Alright you brainless maggots!" Hur'gun shouted.
"Here's our new orders! The warlocks have opened up a portal that they say will take us to a new world!" He paused and glared as a few of the warriors started to mutter among themselves.
"We are to go and scout out this new world and that's all! Is that understood?" Hur'gun glared at them.
"Good, now let's go." A group of Warlocks had gathered around the gateway and were chanting something in some dark tongue, purple and green energies swirling from their fingertips to form strange runes in the air. The gateway fizzled and hissed, and then suddenly, the area between the sides flashed green and darkness and stars shone through the gate where previously there had been the dusty side of a mountain. Hur'gun ordered the company to form up and then they marched up the stairs to the portal. Hur'gun paused right before the portal and then turned around, gazing at the landscape behind him. Kul'gosh didn't blame him, a new world was a frightening prospect. Then Hur'gun turned around again and marched into the portal, disappearing before their very eyes. When it came time for Kul'gosh to step through, he stuck his hand through before him, and felt it disappear. But before he could do anything else, the column continued forward, taking him with them along to the new world . . .
The children all gaped at him in amazement. The oldest one regained his speech first and asked excitedly,
"Was that Azeroth? What happened next?" as the other children all nodded and shouted their agreement with the question. But Kul'gosh only winked and said,
"That part will have to wait until the next night." The children all moaned, but never the less, they all marched off to their tents. Kul'gosh sighed tiredly and leaned back against the tree behind him. He was too tired to move right now, perhaps he would spend the night here, out under the stars.

Very nice story, I like the storyline, but a couple suggestions.
I don't know if people have said this before but, could you maybe space out the paragraphs a bit, kinda hard to read.
Also, like you were saying before your story wasn't getting a lot of views, I think I might have some advice. I've noticed people really enjoy action/fighting in stories, to make them seem exiciting all the time. I personally think your story is good the way it is now, but just a suggestion for you to consider in the future :).
Thanks, I was building up to it. The fighting starts
here. Although, there isn't a lot of it. I'll try to space it out more next time I post. Thanks.
