Turtles aren't terribly diverse, although they have a decent number of colors, they only have the one model. I'd like to see more. Spirit Beast is an obvious choice since there are only two.
There are two models in particular for common pets that I'd like to see made tamable. One is the Carrion Fleshstripper spider model. The only time you can tame that model at all is before you do the quest chain at the Argent Vanguard in Icecrown. After that the area is phased and you can't access them. The model is found in other locations around Icecrown and in two instances, but none are tamable.
The other model I'd like to see tamable are the various Silithid Wasps found in the Silithid areas around Azeroth. Right now they aren't even classified as beasts, but I imagine that they could easily be classified as a wasp so they could be tamed. In my opinion they look a whole lot nicer than the ones currently available.
I never really understood the motivation to keep some of these pets unattainable by Blizzard. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for which ones are tamable and which ones aren't...

That's a change then, as the Necrotic Webspinner was tamable, I had one for a while but it didn't work for me so I let it go. What's additionally odd in the Spider family is that the Dread Creeper from Naxx is technically tamable but it's level 81 so effectively untamable (for now).

Yes. The Wasps from Silithus, AQ and Un'Goro are far nicer looking than the currently accessible Wasps. I love
this one
and would tame it in a second if I could. The Silithid Wasp model is fantastic in all it's colour schemes.
