Hello fellow rogues,
Before you all post read the stickies, I did that but i couldnt find the info on lvl 70 since most of it is for lvl 80 and raiding.
After a break of 6 months I'v decided to continue my rogue, wich is now at lvl 70.
While working trough UK last night I noticed my dps is around 700.
Is this normal if your still mostly in BC quest rewards with some WOTLK rewards?
Or is it that mutilate isnt that top damage before you hit lvl 80?
I'll post my armory at the bottom of this post, so you can see if the problem lies there.
So basicly im struggling with 2 questions, what dps should I be doing a lvl 70?
And would combat do more damage at this lvl range?
I noticed that there are 2 very nice fist weapons in UK & Nexus, so those shouldnt be to hard to get ...
So if combat would be better I'd go and get those and switch to combat fist...
I hope you can help me in this matter
PS. Sorry for misspellings, englishis my main language.

just go with whatever is an upgrade, I was in a mix of T4/5 gear and didn't really notice many upgrades till about 77 - 78ish, but then again I did the stupid rush to 80 as fast as possible thing

But was combat easyer for this then mutilate would be ?
Cuz i feel on trash im missing out on the damage part, cuz i dont have aoe and the rest usually does...
with combat you can atleast attack two at the same time :P
so basicly it feels combat would be better.... but i rather hear from higher rogues with some more experience

My advice is, don't get all worked up about DPS if you aren't 80. this is because once you ding, the amount of hit% you get from hit rating, amount of expertise you get from expertise rating, amount of crit% you get from crit rating - it all diminishes, and you fill find it tedious to keep track of the hit/expertise caps etc. Just work your way up to lvl80, get normal dungeons up and running, and then work on your gear in heroics. There isn't much need to worry about it beforehand
