So I'm a casual player that plays on another player's account when he's not using it and he decided to take a break from WoW. Now, the problem is that I had just put items on the AH (worth around 1000g total) and they're likely to be sold because the items are in demand and I undercutted.
What happens now? The owner of the account didn't want to pay for another month so the subscription has ended. Is the mailbox frozen or does the countdown still goes?
I want to know because if the mailbox is frozen, I'll be happy not to pay for nothing.
I've told myself I would never pay for WoW but seeing 1000g+ disapear; I would not like to witness.
Thanks!

After 30 days server time they will be gone, it happened to me once when I suspended my account for about 2 months. Why don't you just give your buddy $15 and play while he is not using it?

I didn't want to pay and realise that the mailbox was frozen when account is suspended but you cleared that point for me. Thanks.
I'll pay the $15.

There's nothing wrong with paying for a service in which you find entertaining. Perhaps you should convince your friend to use the
Recruit-A-Friend
service if you're going to be paying $15 anyway. You'll get 60 days for the price of one and your friend will get 30 of those days to play with you, too.

Excellent point, and I forgot to mention it is against ToS to use or let someone else use an account unless it's a sibling under the age of 18. So if you do pay for his account don't let random people know it's not your account.

Actually, it's against ToS to share with a sibling. The only person you can share the account with is
one
of your sons or daughters that are under the age of 18. In other words, parents can buy the game and have the monthly fee charged to their credit card and allow one child to play the game.
But Blizz probably isn't even begun to be able to detect any sharing that occurs within the same household.
Blizz doesn't really care about siblings in the same house. I even talked to a few GMs about it. It's like laws that are in the books but don't really get enforced. Blizz won't do anything unless a problem comes up.
