Because they can't sing at all, they scream.
Also, dorean, Rihanna wouldn't be as famous as she is now w/o looks, because shes a fashion icon, and if you're ugly you can't be a fashion icon. But she'd still be a famous singer, and I'd still listen to her and love her even if she was fugly.

No you wouldn't, she most likely would have never been discovered if she diidnt look like she does and never would have received a record label and never sung. Youre saying it as if she just suddenly became ugly then ofc people would still listen

I don't care if shes ugly, she wouldn't be my dream girl or the person I want to marry, but she'd still be mine and a lot of ppl's favorite singer. She also got discovered by her talent, not looks. She wasn't as near as hot then as now, infact when she was discovered she was your average chick on the street.
If I listened to her just because shes hot, I would only buy her music videos, never go to her concerts, etc. I mean, whats the point of listening to a sexy person if she can't sing? Rihanna has the full package.

It depends on what you yell, and how you yell.
Also Vikey: Not all rock is an ugly, fat guy yelling into a microphone.
Listen to Guns 'N' Roses, for example. Or Lenny Kravits, or Elvis Presley, or AC/DC, or Bob Seger...

Oh I know, I'm sure some are good. I like some of elvis. I've heard of guns and roses, and AC/DC but never heard em sing or play.
But I've learned a deep hatred for rock, my dad was a rock/metal fan, he always played metallica and such, I hated every minute of it. My mom was more of a madonna person :p
