tl;dr'd everything except for the OP.
As a wrestler: kiss my ass if you think your going to take my sport away.
I swear, this generation is going to die in flames. Not only is the music that they listen to whiney, they cant play violent video games, and now not violent sports? Are we trying to raise a bunch of *!@#ing pussys? (Pardon my french.)
And what they hell happened to good cartoons? When i was younger i was watching Dragon Ball Z and that kind of stuff, cartoons that were either people beating the @#$% out of eachother the whole time, or were so full of adult inuendo that my parents would watch them and laugh. And now their watching shows about recycling and love for all mankind. *!@# that, TV is for entertainment. If my kids are going to learn good values, its going to be for me, just like i learned them from my parents. Im and Eagle Scout, takeing college courses in high school and im going into the Army. I didnt need TV to teach me to recycle and good values, that i got from scouting and youth programs, and good parenting.
God, parents are lazy and their kids are panzys.
Judging by your opinion, your parents didn't teach you as good values as you think..

The people who are doing this are stupid. They are most likely the kids who got out first or hurt themselves while playing a sport. And I think that they should just have art and sports, if Obamas stimulus goes to their schol they can afford at least a teacher who knows art.
Sarcasm I'm guessing? School in my mind should be math, science, and grammar, with maybe some history thrown into the mix (but just general history, NO ONE CARES WHEN WASHINGTON TOOK A DUMP).
PE classes are just a way to employ the idiots who played sports in school but weren't good enough to get on a team and were too dumb to do get a real job. And its a self-sustaining cycle at this point; dumb kids think that athletics is an acceptable career path, suck, and then become PE teachers and teach more dumb kids the same thing.
The amount of crap in this statement is so big I actually felt I was inside the 2 Girls 1 Cup video.
You should know all your history. All of it.
Arts are extremely, and I insist,
extremely
important for the development of a person's mind and opinion.
Also sports, even though they should be optional, teach kids to act together, and brings them together.
Also philosophy and social sciences are two things that I love about my school.
They take those two out of schools in dictatorships, you know why? Because it teaches the students to think and criticize the society.
So, adding up: horse *!@#

Laihendi doesn't see anything wrong with such sports, but to be honest he thinks that with all the budget cuts public schools are getting, sports programs should be cut before art programs (including music). Unfortunately most people don't appreciate art so from what Laihendi sees, sports is placed at a higher priority on the budget :-/
Art programs in school will likely be cut before sports programs because sports bring in much more money
That's because society doesn't value art as much as sweaty men in tights fighting over a ball.

Yes, obesity kills. PE does not stop Obesity however, and although Sex Ed doesn't stop people from getting STDs, it has much more on a contribution than PE does.

tl;dr
The article says we need more PE time and activities in schools.

Have you researched it?
No --> go do research.
Yes --> back it up with sources.
On second thought, I don't source my arguments all the time either.

- Google's "fat kids in school"
- Gets an article saying we need more PE, as if that is related to how much or little it matters compared to Sex Ed.
****
Good job.

From your point of view, others see sports being more important because it teaches teamwork and keeps young people active and healthy.
Don't get me wrong Arts are just as important but what would you rather do, pay to go into an art show or pay to get into a football game where everyone is pumped up cheering for a team?
Actually Laihendi is more interested in music, but even if it was visual arts, Laihendi would still choose it over a football game.
If people were taught to have an appreciation for art (specifically music) then the vast majority of the country wouldn't be listening to garbage "music" that's popular for a year and then ridiculed for decades.

"OK.. Today in Gym class, we WERE going to continue our lessons on how to play Paddy Cake, but aparently som Prick decided Patty cake is also To violent, so we're all just going to sit in a circle and stare at each other for the next hour!"

Good job.
I've had that article a couple weeks after it was published, no need to google it.
Yes, it doesn't compare sex ed. with phy ed. but along the line of your arguments, the names of sexual organs have nothing to do with the transfer of STDs, a rose is a rose by any other name after all.
On the other hand, it does go against your "PE is for morons" theory.

Touche.
But I'm sticking to PE is for morons. Parents need to let their children know they should live healthy, not put them in a class with 50 other kids where the coaches don't know one way or the other if the fat kids are actually exercising. PE classes in schools = Parents feel excused from taking part in the health of their children. Additionally they also make the dumber kids feel that instead of needing to get smarter, they can kick a ball around and make a career out of it, which some can, but most can't.

The Beatles are timeless.
Elvis is timeless.
Johnny Cash is timeless.
Maddona(has 4 minutes to save the world!) is timeless.
Michael Jackson is timeless.
Rihanna just lasts.

Sounds like to me you had horrible teachers.
I quite enjoyed my PE, and my PE did go through the healthy lifestyles section.
PE classes in schools = Parents feel excused from taking part in the health of their children.
The same can be said about everything else. According to ideal teaching methods, the parents should have knowledge and interest in all subject areas of their children.
Home schooling anyone?

Yes, I'll stick to you've had horrible teachers theory.
I'd be horrified if any of my teachers taught that.

Rihanna is and will always be a classic amazing singer.
Madonna is no longer the Queen of pop.

Rihanna may be amazing.
Unfortunately, she does not deserve or possess the title of timeless.
