Christians are so sure that Jesus loves them, but according to Islam, God will ask him if he told them that he(jesus) was God, and he will say "no, I am innocent of what they believe in", that, would be true irony. We are all convinced that we are correct, we shall find out who was right in the end, I suppose. Last thing I am gonna is that if atheists just tried to ignore what they thing is irrational and just used the good principles of religion, we would all be better, but no one is gonna be able to convince the other here.

How would atheists converting and using the good principles of your religion make everything better? Atheists have morals too, you know.
Wait... you're telling atheists to ignore questioning beliefs that are irrational? That's basically telling them to not practice
critical thinking
.

You misunderstood me, I was saying that atheists would just look beyond the whole irrational thing and just followed the rules that religion gave us, we would all be better. And I am not saying that atheists have no morals, anyone who says that doesn't have a clue, but the rules and morals of religion are better, this much is inarguable.

So the rules and morals of your way of life are better... and atheists should just stop questioning things that are irrational. Gotcha.
And you're still saying that if atheists would follow the rules of your religion, then everyone would be better. That's a pretty bigoted statement.

And you're saying that the morals of religion are inarguably better than the morals of atheism... hmm...

Really, do you have to be such a pain? I was discussing things as I would with friends or family, yet you still insist on attacking me!

You're basically arguing if everyone was religious, they'd be scared into morality. Guess what, history has proven that is a steamy pile of bull^&*!. When you can do whatever you want, and then all you have to do to evade "divine punishment" is pray, then you get religious fanatics who kill without remorse. Honestly if religion didn't exist and people were made to be more scared of physical punishment, instead of being led to believe that they'll experience eternal happiness and virgins or whatever other bull*!@#, quite a few of the world's current armed conflicts wouldn't exist.
Religion creates less morality, not more,
you fail.

Hmmm.... Dunno if I agree with this one. Stasticially, looking at different parts of the world... disease rates, poverty rates, etc, are lower in areas with distinct religions. A good example is Egypt, which is predominately Muslim having one of the lowest HIV rates in the world, when it is situated right next to the countries with the highest rates. Can it be attributed to the moral values? While correllation does not prove causation, it makes a good case for it.
The overall arguement of the value of religion is a horse of a different color. I broadly disagree with man organised religions, and have spent a good portion of my life studying them to come to that conclusion.

Which I discussed, bringing up how it may not have been God's intention, and how it was very progressive inhibitations on slavery for the time, and brought up other passages that show how the Bible is obviously not all about slavery. The bible is supposed to be the word of God. If it says it's ok to beat your slave as long as he/she doesn't die, you can't just say "oh well God didn't really want that to happen". If the bible
really
taught timeless values, then you wouldn't be able to say that is was progressive "for it's time".
Address what I say when you are debating with me, or expect that you will be ignored by me in the future.
uh oh
So MyTie, Laihendi addressed the last thing you said to him and you ignored him. Response?

I believe on the
Pope's last visit to Africa
... he made a public statement to his followers there, that he thought that condoms increases the risk of A.I.D.S.
I don't necessarily believe that more religion=less morality... I just think that anything, taken incorrectly or through poor judgment, could lead to some serious crap.
Edit: Put in a link to the story.
