Obviously some weren't (Nazis are a good example of this).
Nazis weren't necessarily stupid, they were just so extremely screwed up,
evil
, and hateful that they decided to follow a crazed orator like Hitler into exterminating millions of people and starting the bloodiest war in history.
they blindly believed the garbage hitler said, i mean after WWI germany was screwed basically. then come hitler promising a better future and alot of good things. they blindly believed him and went with his plans, why? blind faith..... they werent necessarily evil people. but hitler made the jews and the people they slaughtered look like the enemy. look at it from a nazis point of view, you have hitler who turned your country from a war torn hellhole into a powerful nation. you (a nazi) were also probably just a kid when WWI was happening and you probably lost a parent,your home and had to suffer through bad times. hitler comes and says "these people (the people hitler viewed as bad) are the reason we lost the war, they have betrayed their country,they have taken your jobs,ruined your lives, killed your parents and are still living the best lives.
