ya know, I've started to notice that we're a little outnumbered here =(
Most wowheaders I know play alliance rather than horde.
just off the top of my head (sorry if I leave anyone out)
Alliance: Benzene, Adamsm, Elhonna, Thror, Kristopher, Edan, NeonHyper, and several I can't think ATm.
Horde: Oz, Skreeran, Elura, Myself, Nath................ and I can't think of anyone else.
We're outnumbered.........
On a more cheerful note, THE BEER BATTER ONION RINGS ARE READY!
My god, this stuff is like mana from heaven.

I have succeeded in getting several people to come roll ally toons on my server for MoP, who otherwise play horde. There's a MoP Achieve to have a max level on each side, which may help- lol.

ahhh =P
Well, I already have 2 max level alliance toons (Paladin and Druid), and 7 max level horde toons(Death Knight, Hunter, Priest, Mage, Rogue, Shaman, and Warrior) but I'm guessing I wont earn that achievement automatically when MoP is out, given that the new cap will be 90.
But that works both ways, level a hordie on my realm =D

I started my level 3 hunter in interest's guild- I may level that one. 90 levels seems like a lot of work for 10 achievement points, though. If they would let us share mounts that are usually horde only, though, I'd level that bad boy in a second

Ahh but the horde quests are so awesome time just flies by. I swear.
From "Welcome to the machine" to the entire recruitment arch with the taunka, to the dragonmaw revolution, to the HILLARIOUS way we recruit the hozen on MoP.
And again, GOBLINS, I swear you will never find quests more fun to do as goblin quests.

I absolutely hate the horde quests. I have done the goblin starting zone, and I have repeatedly gotten characters up to 30 or 35. But I just really hate the quests on that side once you get into the contested territories.

The Goblin starting area got old really fast, and even Azshara drags out at times....but you can say that about all questing zones.

why? =( they're awesome.
Have you ever done the recruitment of the taunka? or "Hero of the Mag'har" How about the Dragonmaw Revolution? Some of the best quests on the whole darn game.

I've never gotten past 35 before it started to feel like a chore.

maybe you're not questing on the good areas. Me, after finishing Hillsbrad (about the 30's or so) I move to Stonetalon>South Barrens>Feralas>Thousand Needles>Tanaris>Blasted lands.
Seriously, the quests (for both sides) on the revamped EK and Kalimdor are so fun, I finally was able to (almost) complete my goal of having one of each class once cataclysm was released.
pre-cataclysm, yes, it was a HORRIBLE drag to get any toons to 58, due to the horrid pacing of the vanila quests for both sides, but post-cata, leveling alts is fast and fun, at least for me.
If anything, the one point where the leveling gets tedious is when I gotta go to Zul'drak on northrend, and Deepholm on the cata levels.
Seriously, once you're past outland, the horde has some truly memorable quests. Including the BEST quest-chain of TBC (Hero of the Mag'har) and one of the best quest-chains on WOTLK (The Plight of the Taunka).
Cataclysm is the icing on the cake with the utterly fabulous Dragonmaw Revolution.
Far better than the "My big
greek
Dwarf Wedding" you do on the alliance side once you're on the highlands.

Hillsbrad was an... interesting zone.
to me it was 50/50.
On the one hand I LOOOOVED the quest-chain involving Orkus (Poor fellow T_T he deserved better, at least he died a warrior's death, I did multiple AV runs in his honor to avenge his death, and led every single one of them to victory) and absolutely LOOOVED the Forsaken Psychologist that is doing a therapy session on the two orcs who were captive on the ruins of Durnhold. (LOL they developed Stockholm Syndrome TO THEIR CHAIN-BALLS)
I also liked that I was able to kill that incredibly crazy (even by forsaken standards) scientist that was doing those horrible experiments on civilians (needless to say I also freed the civilians).
However, I didn't liked what the forsaken did to southshore. Win a war? ok, Pollute and radiate the land? definitely not ok.
Being able to protect all of hillsbrand from being bombarded to hell by the dwarves was awesome though.
All in all, its a good zone, as was Silverpine. They really did a nice effort on the 10-30 bracket for both factions, because just as Silverpine/Hillsbrad is really fun, so is Westfall/Redridge.
Its during the 30-40 bracket that it slows down, then it picks up again if you do both plagelands (east and west) followed by Badlands and searing gorge/burning steeps.
Considering that all (ALL) of those zones are neutral with no faction-specific quests (except for 1/4 of west plageland)...................
