Also, sag, explain that whole fire serpent thingy :S.
Here's the deal:
In Norse Mythology all the universe is held together by The Great Tree of Life, Yggdrasil.
Above Yggdrasil is Gimlé, the High Heavens.
In the leaves of Yggdrasil is Asgard, the home to the Aesir Gods (The superior ones).
In the branches of the Tree is Alfheim, the world of the Elves, on one side and Vanaheim, the home of the Vaenir Gods, on another.
Around the trunk of Yggdrasil is the frozen world of Jotunheim, the land of the Jotuns and the Giants.
At the base of the tree is Midgard, our world.
Beneath Yggdrasil, around the roots is Darkaflheim, the world of the Dwarfs.
Under Yggdrasil, even farther than the roots, where the lava runs, is Muspelheim, the Wold of Fire, and Hel/Niflheim, the Underworld.
Around the roots of the tree is a great snake of fire, which is eating the roots. When the snake has eaten all of the roots, there will be a passage for the forces of Darkalfheim, Niflheim and Muspelheim to pass and invade Asgard.
Knowing this, Odin, the Leader of the Aesir, is making an army with the bravest of the humans in his home of Valhalla, where they are always training for the great day.
The Jotuns and the Elves some are allied to the Aesir/Vaenir, some to the other worlds.
When the great fire serpent finishes eating the roots the end of the world will happen, Ragnarök.
After Ragnarök, the universe will end, and be reformed anew, for it all to happen again, as the souls of those who witnessed the end of the world before that one wander around in Gimlé, or in Hel.
That sums it up. Somewhat.

Stop the argument.
You both are right in your own ways. You're your own worst critic, and your opinion is the most important, yes.
But if you look like

If you look like that first picture, and believe you are beautiful, then to YOU, you are beautiful. How is this wrong?
I could also say that:
"The woman in the second picture is ugly."
Does that make her ugly? Does that make her not ugly? Does my opinion change anything?

In this case, opinion is perception of reality.

No...But its Rihanna. So incoming Vikey rant.
Well, I guess it changes something. It changes your viewpoint, but only to you. It doesn't change the way the person/picture/thing etc. looks physically, but it changes the way you think about it.

EXACTLY!
And no one opinion is law. TheMediator claims that society's opinion is the correct reality. I say that they are all opinions, and are all relative.

don't you dare get that $%^&ing perception of meQuite intimidating.
Lawl.
Also, vikey: Why do you wear makeup?
I don't wear it like eye shadow and such. Just like foundation to make me look tanner, or shade the circles under my eyes. and concealer for blemishes and such.

First, I have a question, by society, do you mean the majority of people or the government, or do you mean the whole people collectively?
Either way; I agree with MyTie. If it's a matter of opinion, there is no correct reality. The only reality is the way something is physically.

When I say 'society', I mean the people. I usually refer to government as 'state', or 'government', or 'US'.

Alright, just clarifying. So not as the majority, but as the whole people collectively.
