Does it really need a response? You don't know the material as well as someone who spent years studying it. In public schools, there are six teachers putting all their time into a subject. In home schooling there are 2 teachers spreading all their time over 6 subjects... who don't really know the subjects to start with.
But they've got a textbook so it's all right.
Well, that's not what i said at all.
You're advocating home schooling and Laihendi is pointing out obvious flaws in it right?
I'm saying that I have carefully considered the flaws, and taken measures to help ensure a well rounded curriculum. And your response is pretty flat.

Maybe the response is coming off as flat to you because you disagree with it.

A few pages back I posted that I hated school, everything about it, everything it stood for, the majority of my teachers, and disliked a fair majority or the students I went there with...
So that would give me a lesser view of wanting to spend my enitre life there...
For me personally, I have learned more since I left school, then I beleive I ever did at school...
You sound either like you a) got stuck with the stupid kids or b) didn't get stuck with the smart ones. Generally, the better teachers gravitate toward the smarter kids (possibly the reverse), from what I can tell.
Most people do learn more after they leave school. But the one thing you either learned in school or didn't learn (during that time period, anyway) was that you need to continue to learn after school.

I thinks it's time you two agree to disagree and move on...lol
Laihendi tried that earlier, but then MyTie pulled the old "When faced with facts, the liberal goes shrieking back to its lair..." trick.

Or because you've said the same thing and ignored his counter-argument.Maybe you just don't like what Laihendi is saying because you don't agree with it, so you pretend he isn't using a credible argument.

No, I'm looking at the fact that you basically argue against what he isn't saying and claim that he's saying something that he isn't.
You also did little to counter his use of Wall Street Journal, besides saying "ANYTHING CAN BE PROVEN ON THE INTERNET!" and linking to sources that I can pretty much guarantee are unreliable.
I won't deny that I don't like you're side of the argument, but I'm damn good at not having a bias while reading.
Laihendi hasn't claimed that he's said anything other than he did in fact say. Maybe you should go back a few pages and read the posts.
