you sir, fail. he said that the death knight was a blood DK, so he was dps spec, main spec is always first, you really shouldn't take gear just because "you might decide to respec to tank spec in the future" The point is, the tank needed it now, its one of the best tanking trinkets in the game and for anyone to roll need on it, other then the MT if the MT needs it is just retarded. If you did this to a group i was in, i would blacklist you from my guild, and tell all my friends not to run with you.
The part that gets me, is that you really think that it is ok for you to take it.... seriously? oh well, at least your alliance and i would never have to be in a party with you. But your posts so far in this thread, are the ipidimy of ignorance.

There should be a player based reputation system in wow as to let other players know how "liked" or "unliked" a player is in relation ship to other players in the server that way before inviting someone to a group they can check thier reputational history. and it would also deter rude players from acting up.

All Deathknight specs can tank. Almost all the DK tanks i had were blood. They are able to tank when they need to so he might have been a Blood specced tank. Dont go around assuming because he is blood spec he is 100% DPS and will never tank.
