SM - Good loot, pretty fun. Only thing is the wings are all replicas of each other till the end.
BRD - I hate this instance for how huge it is but wow, it was well designed.
Ramparts - My first taste of outland. I loved it.

Im goin to say my Fav pre-BC is VC/DM i run that instance at least 4 times a week still just to hear smite when you blow up the door.
TBC SL is fun i love the Murmur, and hate the MC boss, he always blows through my mana. SH the hall of death is great as a Frost Mage.
