Thanks, I've taken out the points in the other trees as floater points people can work with on their own.

While Magic Suppression is an expensive 5 point talent... that is some great spell damage mitigation there. I stuck in your base build without the points in it and AMZ, as an alternate, but if you're going holy to tank, you best be prepared to be asked to tank caster bosses. I could see some heroic raids where an unholy DK is brought in specifically for that purpose. Not that it will be required, since blizz wanted to get away from that sort of group makeup specializing, but just because it will be made much easier.
Any other unholy tanks out there that advocate for or against AMZ and Magic Suppression?

I really can't decide what you are trying to do with this build. If you are trying to make a blood tanking build, you might as well go all the way with blood. I see you went and got bone shield, which will help you tank quite a bit with the mitigation it provides. You also hit both +stam talents that death knights can have so you're doing pretty decent with health.
I'll be honest, when I see the build at first glance I want to dismiss it. It looks much more like a hybrid DPS build without any real special attacks (no Howling Blast, no Heart Strike, no Scourge Strike). Part of the strength of going into the Unholy tree is to get that 3rd disease which increases your certain special abilities like Blood Strike, Obliterate, etc.
If you're new to tanking, I'd suggest you start with a pure tanking build in frost or unholy to get the hang of it and the rotation you need to use. Then you can experiment with this sort of build and you'll find out if you're missing out on something by hybridizing so much.
Again, not sure what you're trying to accomplish with the build, but this would work better for an unholy based build with enough blood for rune taps:

I have a comment about your rotation while frost specced tanking. If I'm not mistaken, because of Glacier Rot wouldn't you want to lead with PS over IT? That way IT benefits from PS through the Glacier Rot talent?

That's true, but mainly I like that skill to improve HB and FS. The reason for this is the pulling ability of IT. Now, after the initial pull, PS would most definitely be the starter of the rotation. However, I guess I like to keep things super simple for myself so I follow the same rotation constantly which is what I like to suggest to other beginner tanks.
I don't intend for this guide to be the authority on tanking, but a good starter point for all the players new to a class that is capable of tanking in addition to DPS role they may all be accustomed to. Once players (myself included) become comfortable in their new role, they can develop their own rotations and variations that min/max their talents based upon their preferences.
A good example of this would be the use of Death Runes. I haven't yet specced into Blood of the North with my frost DK yet and so I haven't yet determined how I would best use this ability if/when I do put talents into it.

5% less damage from magic ALWAYS. How is that not worth the points? In most pulls there are magic casters. One extra point and you have a shield for all your party. You are quite adamantly opposed to these two talents for very little reason that I can tell.
I mean, lets take a look at how you completely filled out the rest of the talents in your proposed build from earlier.
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=j0gZhg0zZfghIhcoxc00csut
What I'm reading into this build is: Let's forgo magic mitigation for extra range on a spell that we aren't even going to be pulling with (or a pvp ability) since best damage output comes from a PS->IT starter to the rotation (even in frost spec if you really wanted to max it out) to get a panic/niche avoidance ability Lichborne which has a 3 min cooldown.
I still don't agree with putting magic suppression and AMZ in to a general tanking build, since it's too niche to be truly useful for most situations. But I guess if you believe it to be vastly superior than ensuring solid threat, then power to you.
I will remind gently, that Unholy has a little harder time with single target threat than Frost, though...so skipping on the threat generation isn't helping much in the long run.
Then to add some extra dps/threat you go into bladed armor. You could have just stuck the points I just mentioned and these into
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=55670
and gotten your extra 5% damage/threat through that ability.
I only bring this up since you seem to be over eager to butt heads on whether or not a
tanking build
should include an extra mitigation. I'm not saying either way is wrong or right. I included your alternative build without those two talents so people can consider and decide for themselves.
I will say this... just yesterday I healed through normal Utgarde Pinnacle with my paladin. On a few fights there was a LOT of spell damage done. Was hard rather difficult since I was taking full advantage of Beacon of Light and tossing heals everywhere to keep up. That was with a warrior tank. While we still had a fairly smooth run for being first timers mostly, now I sit here and regard this debate and then think to myself, "What if I had an unholy DK with AMZ?"
As the group demonstrated, its not needed. But in some cases every little bit helps.
