Yes, it is possible.
<a href="
www.wowhead.com/?spell=16924"
class="icontiny" style="background-image: url(
http://static.wowhead.com/images/icons/tiny/spell_arcane_starfire.gif
)">Celestial Focus</a>
Play around with some CSS to move the picture to the exact place.

thx, works perfect, but i have one more question, where can i find link for each spells and items,.. like as in your code
http://static.wowhead.com/images/icons/tiny/spell_arcane_starfire.gif
must for all spells and items manualy write link to each tiny picture ?
Hmm. In one word: Yes.
But you can try to download all pictures or better, write a small script for your message board that downloads the needed icons and cache them on your webspace. That requieres some php and programming knowledge.
On wowhead, you can double-click the icon on every item/spell-page to view a small pop-up where you can copy&paste the name of that icon.

File to edit:
{df_root}/themes/{THEME_NAME}/templates/header.html
Find:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="{THEME_PATH}/style/style.css" />
After this line, insert:
<script type="text/javascript" src="
http://www.wowhead.com/widgets/power.js"></script>
Now the site has the Wowhead JavaScript working on all of the pages, for it to work in the Default Forums, you need to go to Forums Administration, click Forums > Configuration. Midway down the page you will find
Allow HTML
, and below that you will need to add
,a
to the Allowed HTML Tags.
Now when you post a WoWhead reference link, you need to disable BBCode for that post, or BBCode will parse it as an HTML link.
Not sure if this stuff was posted anyplace else, i just sat down and figured it out.

Hey guys and gals,
I searched as best I could to no avail, so I will ask here...
I love having the tooltips on my website. The new dungeon achievement ones are a terrific addition for our guild to work through. I have added the basic 5 man and heroic ones to our site.
My question is, are there any tooltips (code or otherwise) that will show an achievement complete? The current ones show the criteria needed to complete it, but I could not find any that show it actually completed.
Thanks for your time and terrific site and community.

Anyone have a clue how to get this working for Joomla?
Sure do. Go to your template's
index.php
file and near the very bottom add:
<script src="
http://www.wowhead.com/widgets/power.js"></script>
Just be sure to add the above code BEFORE:
</body> or </html>

The new feature with gems, enchantments etc. is nice and works also with the localized version. Except the gems, which don't show up in the German version.

I was surprised how easily this worked on my gaming group's forum (ProBoards). Just go to Admin->Headers and Footers->Global Header / Footer and paste the given script anywhere in the header section and save it.

I created a little JavaScript hack that allows you to put Wowhead links in phpBB posts based only on item name WITH the proper link coloring.
First,
download this file
.
Then, unzip and copy the whole wow/ directory to the root directory of your phpBB install.
Next, for every template you want this to work with you have to edit the overall_header.html file and add the following lines right before the </head> tag...
<script src="
http://www.wowhead.com/widgets/power.js"></script>
<script src="wow/jquery-1.2.1.js"></script>
<script src="wow/wowhead_linker.js"></script>
Finally, you need to add the following BBCode entry in the admin area:
BBCode: {TEXT}
HTML equivilent: <a href="wow/wowhead_wrapper.php?item={TEXT}" class="wowhead">{TEXT}</a>
I've only tested this with phpBB3, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with version 2 as well. If you come across any problems, I'll be glad to try and work them out.
To see a working demo,
.
Thanks and happy WoWing!
None of the links above are working. Anyone got this working on phpBB 3.0+? If so, can they share their codes?
Thanks,
Dani
