So i make a DK just for Tanking...I Play since 2005 and i'm so tired of "Looking for tank and healer" ...Now a friend leveled a healer and me.THE tank (actually i prefer warrior but i hate leveling)...Tell me your Suggestion why my build it suck (because propably it sucks).I never use it at Instances,
i just hit the level cap....be Polite :P

P.s. sorry for my english
For DW Frost Tanking, you'll want something like this:
5/56/10
. I'll point out some things you did wrong with your build and why I put some things in.
Spells are going to be your source of damage/threat, most notably Howling Blast.
Things wrong with your build:
Butchery is good for leveling and not much else.
Scent of Blood is terrible because it relies on you taking damage, at a % chance to proc, and has a cooldown. Three strikes, bad talent.
Annihalation is a must for any build using Obliterate. DW doesn't use Obliterate, however, because it is based on your main hand damage instead of a 2H build getting all of their weapon damage.
Runic Power Mastery is a waste because you'll be dropping runic power on Rune Strike and Frost Strike whenever they are up. Even though this is a DW build and Frost Strike uses weapon damage, it is still unnegatable damage which means guarenteed threat.
Acclimation is too situational to be useful. When you need a lot of one elemental resistance, you'll go get resist gear.
Things I added:
Blood of the North turns all of those Blood Runes from using Pestilence (remember, no CD in 3.0.8!) into yummy, yummy Death Runes to power more Howling Blast. (Also, no CD is 3.0.8!)
Killing Machine is being changed to a "proc per minute per strike" mechanic so DW and 2H can both love it. +50%crit on your next Howling Blast has awesome written all over it.
Epidemic means less time using Frost/Unholy Runes for diseases and for more Howling Blast!
Virulience makes Howling Blast hit more often. Enough said.
Your cycle in 3.0.8 will look like:
IT, Pest, HB, PS, Pest, HB, HB, HB. Hit Rune Strike whenever it's up and Frost Strike if all of your runes are on CD.
Hope I helped you out. =)
EDIT: Howling Blast just got changed to a 5 second cooldown in the patch notes. EXPLETIVE!

I fully understand that I'll probably be marked for death like a lamb to the slaughter, but I must ask this question of theory crafters and all around gurus that are smarter than I. Namely I have a build that I've been thinking about for my DK that is rather radical, and I'm not sure if it would work at all.
Before you even open the link, listen to the discription. I've noticed that there are quite a few cookie cutter builds out there for a DK, but in my raiding experience, the guilds that succeed build their toons around what is best for the group, (without gimping themselves of course). I have noticed that there are many builds out there that are designed for the DK to reach the top dps, but they could be benefiting their raid so much more.
so here it is....
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jcE0V0hIsboZhxcxhZfM0hxc
This build I've been thinking about is based solely around sustained damage, (with the disclaimer that I have yet to check the numbers, as I am at work atm), with the changes coming up in 3.08. I feel that there needs to be much less burst dmg present in PvE. I'm aiming for the build to be based around necrosis, (after patch 20%), BCB, improved Icy Talons, and the on hit buff procs to dmg from blood tree. I realize im gimping my burst damage through all the other higher tier talents, but this is why I ask the community, namely, is this feasble. Fast atk speed, increased AP/crit through procs of blood talents, and larger/faster white hits. Of course gemming/enchants are vital to this but I need to do more research on this as well.
I envision a rotation of IT>PS>Pest>BS>Oblit>DC>DC>IT>PS>Oblit>Oblit>DC>DC repeat.
I know Oblit wont be as powerful as with a 2h, but all this while white hits with Necrosis(like I said 20% post patch...delish) and BCB are proccing....like I said the math needs to be done, so I'll get on it later tonight along with what enchants/gems would be needed.
All in all I stand before the firing squad ready to take my execution like a man from the community, but I do so in the hopes that I might glean more info from you all in the hopes of a pardon,(and a fresh new build to boot). I am at your mercy people....reply at will.
