Love is in the Air runs from February 2nd through February 16th
and is now live on EU and NA realms

Love is in the air received minor updates in 2018:
The Crown Company necklaces are up to ilvl 880.
Weathered Heirloom Scabbard
costs 450 Love Tokens.
You have to be 98 or higher to have a chance to acquire the
Big Love Rocket
, found in the
Heart-Shaped Box
.
Love is in the Air holiday items can be transmogged
for the duration
of the event.
Lovely Dress Box
has a chance to contain one of four dresses:
Lovely Blue Dress
,
Lovely Purple Dress
,
Lovely Red Dress
,
Lovely Black Dress
.
Dinner Suit Box
has a chance to contain one of three pastel pantsuits:
Red Dinner Suit
,
Purple Dinner Suit
,
Blue Dinner Suit
.
There are two fashionable headgear pieces from the
Apothecary Hummel
encounter.
Forever-Lovely Rose
appears as a flower carried in male characters' teeth, and a rose tucked behind female characters' ears.
Vile Fumigator's Mask
is a gas mask with canisters filled with concentrated perfume, which is
not
marked as cosmetic armor.
Love is in the Air received a number of updates the year before in 2017:
You no longer have to be maximum level (110) to queue up for the Crown Chemical Co. The minimum level to queue up for Shadowfang Keep via the Dungeon Finder is level 16.
Loot rewards are now appropriate to your level, similar to how Timewarped loot works.
Crushing the Crown
is now a daily outside Shadowfang Keep. In the center of this area is a piece of paper which starts the
Follow the Recipe
daily quest. This rewards 3
Crown Co. "Kure-Everything" Tonic
which transforms you into a zombie. Also in this area are
Love Potion No. 8
to control a Crowne Company employee for a minute.
There are new toys:
Love Boat
for 270 Love Tokens and
Sturdy Love Fool
for 100 Love Tokens.
The Love is in the Air wreaths and bouquets have received high-resolution updates.
Holiday Overview:
Love is in the Air is mainly about farming
Love Token
which can be turned in for items like
Swift Lovebird
and
Truesilver Shafted Arrow
.
Peddlefeet
and
Toxic Wasteling
are battle pets with holiday-themed abilities.
There are two mounts tied to this event:
Big Love Rocket
which is a low drop from
Heart-Shaped Box
tied to the
Apothecary Hummel
encounter, and
Swift Lovebird
which costs 270
Love Token
and can be sold on the AH.
Completing the meta-achievement
Fool For Love
rewards the title .

Clarifications on Mount
Hey all,
A quick update on changes to Holiday Loot with the launch of 'Love is in the Air' today:
When we changed Holiday dungeons to scale based on a player’s level, we aimed to increase participation in those dungeons. We also wanted to avoid a situation where a player with an army of low-level characters had a better chance at receiving account-wide rewards than a player with one or two max-level characters. At the same time, we didn't want to impact the amount of chances that players who maintain several max-level characters had in previous years.
As a compromise, we made account-wide rewards a random drop for any character capable of participating in current-expansion content. For the remainder of Legion, players level 98 and above fit that criteria. The minimum level requirement will increase again in Battle for Azeroth, and will continue to increase in future expansions.
Blizzard Preview
Something is in the air in the major cities of Azeroth. Many guards and townsfolk spend their days giving and receiving gifts to other amorous citizens.
Currents of conflict may be in the air once more between the Horde and Alliance, but there’s time enough for love during the Love Is in the Air holiday event.

Use the Dungeon Finder to participate in an encounter against Apothecary Hummel, granting a
Heart-Shaped Box
(which contains holiday loot) as a daily reward. This is now available to characters level 20 and above.
Main Quest Line
The Steamwheedle Cartel suspects there’s something shady about the goblin newcomers of the Crown Chemical Company. Investigators have been hired to get to the bottom of things—with your help.

Complete special daily quests to obtain experience, gold, and Love Tokens to purchase holiday items. For detailed information about the quests, check out the

*Nation of AdorationComplete the Lovely Charm Bracelet daily quest of each Horde or Alliance capital.
Perma-PeddleObtain a permanent Peddlefeet pet by procuring a Truesilver Shafted Arrow.
*Shafted!Shoot 10 players with the Silver Shafted Arrow.
*Sweet ToothSample the Love Is in the Air candies listed–Buttermilk Delight, Dark Desire, Sweet Surprise, Very Berry Cream.
*The Rocket's Pink GlareShoot off 10 Love Rockets in 20 seconds or less.
Tough LoveDefeat the trio of Crown Chemical Co. apothecaries in Shadowfang Keep.

which grants the Title Reward: The Love Fool.

Take to the ground atop this pink, flightless bird, sure to set the mood for any acrophobic romantic engagements. Available in exchange for Love Tokens at your faction’s Lovely Merchants, NPC vendors located in capital cities.

, which you apparently get from the Apothecary encounter if you're below level 98, can contain the Big Love Rocket?

was introduced to make freshly created Allied race characters uneligible to get the Big Love Rocket

That’s not cool. Being able to queue with all my lowbs was the only reason I got the rocket last year. This is a poor decision imo and I hope Blizzard changes it. (It seems exactly like Blizzard to introduce the new box to prevent lower level characters from getting the rocket right around the time the new races came out. )

Nasty nerf - I could understand it if the mount had a 1/100 drop chance. We're dealing with a really rare drop, though. :(

The dresses/suits contained in
Lovely Dress Box
and
Dinner Suit Box
are cosmetic as from this Patch. Also they cannot be traded/added to AH. The dresses/suits which are already in the ah will NOT be added to your Appearance Collection if you buy them!

The confirmation from the Devs is needed. I want to know can
Heart-Shaped Carton
contain mount or not. I am really sad because I've prepared all my level 20+ characters (including starter edition ones) to do the same thing I did last year.

Thanks for making the 25-30 lvl 20 chars i levelled last year for this event completely worthless Blizz.
Huge amount of wasted time... why would you do this, i thought the whole point of lowering the lvl requirement was to make it a bit 'kinder' for those of us who torture ourselves every year trying to get this stupid mount.
Looks like I'm down from 50 chars to 15, thanks a lot Blizz.
Why is a DH out of the starter area any different than lvlling a lvl 20? It takes the same amount of time, so why screw us like this?
You could have at least warned us...

Having a hard time understanding why there is confusion over the mount only being available above Level 98. Hallow's End worked this way as well although they may not have had a separate loot box for lowbies, I can't remember. I guess there wasn't enough video game inconveniences for the entitled masses to cry about this week. It's on you if you leveled a ton of characters expecting all of them, regardless of level, would have a chance at the mount when previous holidays already have this system in place.
Sometimes I question the gaming community's sanity. I know damn well people wanting to run 50 characters through this thing every day will ignore that mount within a week even if they get it...lol.

Well you aren't really smart are you? This is something that should be expected after seeing how they handled Headless Horseman and Brewfest mounts.

The point is that you can create lvl 20 char that doesn't even need a questline to complete to access the rest of the world, therefore people would simply re-create characters to abuse the drop chance even further than before

Well you aren't really smart are you? This is something that should be expected after seeing how they handled Headless Horseman and Brewfest mounts.
January '17 ... seems like YOU aren't really smart because i prepared all those characters for Love is in the Air 2017 where you GOT an epic box on lower level characters

I don't recall seeing anything about needing to be level 98+ for any of the holiday mounts before now. Though the only one I've been trying to get is the love rocket. Where is this information coming from? So I know where to look it up for myself. Thank you and again good luck to all!
