All of the people crying because it's "too hard", seriously get over it. Everything is this game is optional content, especially if the only reward is a cosmetic change. I mean, you guys cry over every little thing if it's not just handed to you.

couldnt agree better friend. im dumb founded right now at blizzards thought process....
I don't think Blizzard is thinking, except maybe how to waste even more of their player's time. Let's go do more WQ to earn rep with yet ANOTHER faction. Yay. Isn't Legion turning out to be the most boring X-Pac right about now.

I tried with my dh this morning, failed horriblly,
So this means I won't be able to complete it as 870 havoc dh, 880 fury warrior, 883 Frost mage, 895 windwalker monk 890 BRM monk 896 healer monk, 875 demo lock,
And need minimum 910 Ilvl?
Then I guess I have to wait for couple of months :(
Due to people asking for 915 + Ilvl, curve guldan, and real money to join normal raid, +4 and plus mythic keystones
And neather shards are bugged or what Idk
Portals spawns on random place
A 5 man group ninja all Portals and thanks to blizzard tagging system mobs turns Gray to us due to others tagging mobs
I want to see mobs not turning Gray as anyone tags them
Otherwise it feels so useless to go there's open our own portal shards and watch everyone to ninja our portal helplessly.

Heyya! This is Leegoinham-Zul'jin. I have completed the restoration shaman End of the Risen Threat. This is a very hard fight for restoration shamans, and took me about 20 attempts to complete. I'm 904 ilvl with 42 AP traits.
First things first Talents
Undulation - Graceful spirit (personal choice) - Lightning surge totem - Ancestral Guidance - Earthen shield totem - Echo of the elements - Ascendance
Undulation is vital because most of your healing will be from healing surge/wave, Riptide is mostly just used for reducing cast time in this instance.
Graceful spirit is what I prefer, because i can run while casting more often, beneficial in certain situations.
Lightning surge totem is a must have, you have to be able to stun adds in order to survive.
Earthen shield totem will help you mitigate some blade dance damage and a few other things.
Echo of the elements to keep up tidal waves and for extra lava burst damage
Ascendance for the big burst heals! Remember chain heal won't be effective in this instance, I did't use it at all.
Now legendaries, I have been lucky enough to get Uncertain reminder, the lust helm. This helps with extra healing from sense of urgency, and increased cast time. Then the next thing I used was Prydaz, for the constant shield to help with fixates. I would not recommend roots of shaladrassil because on the last boss you want to stay low health because he has a nightbane mechanic.
Mastery food, int flask, augment, and potions of prolonged power might just be the final things that can push you over the rim.
Phase 1, you have to wind shear the mages off cd, and stun them if your totem is available. Try not to overlap CC. Also when the archers teleport and cast mana sting, make sure you get behind preferably the warrior NPC, he has the highest healthpool and will be most likely to survive mana sting. You will have to heal through this with riptide and healing wave spamming. The soldiers need to be stunned when they do blade dance, when they fixate you drop earthbind totem, use spiritwalker's grace, and run and heal as fast as you can! Save your second potion for the 2nd to last pack. Use lust on the last pack.
P2 is simple, kill one eye at a time, heal up, repeat. Kill the demons in the next room, unlock the door, Dispel the NPC that is feared, pop ascendance, healing tide totem, ancestral spirit, and heal all the npcs to full health. Then kill the elite hunter add, The NPCs that you healed can be used to block the mana sting. Next room chain lightning a safe path then go. Open the door then pull the inquisitor to the edge of the room where you just opened the door. Burst him down as fast as you can to avoid lasers. Then deal with the kill able adds like you did in the initial room where you started. Now I recommend waiting for cds for p6. When you are ready, go ahead and start. Once everyone has said their RP, and the boss is doing his, use your prepot and put healing rain down. Prepare to burst heal the adds that are being pulled to the boss. Once they are within LoS pop Ascendance and healing surge, riptide spam them to full health. Your goal is to get them all topped off before they reach the boss. The next wave use healing tide totem and ancestral guidance to top all 3 of that wave off. If needed use gift of the queen on your friends killing each other. Next wave use spirit link and healing surge spam the rest of the adds up. You should have healed 8 allies, and will now go into the next phase. Drink if you drop combat. Kill the adds, and once you start the boss fight use your prolonged power and lust. Put as much damage as you can whenever you can. He will do a fel stomp on you, and you want to put these by the wall. Standing in them will cause you to take damage. The boss will then but the nightbane debuff on you, and you want to get around 30% hp, but make sure you can live if the boss fel stomps on you again. Once the debuff expires use a heal to get you to 70% and the party members to full health. Repeat this for the rest of the phase and you will be good!
I will be uploading a video shortly and I will link it in an edit.
https://youtu.be/e31EsZteZAA
Video is currently processing and quality may be low until ~0500 4/4/17, anyways guys good luck on your quest to unlock this appearance!
Good luck fellas! This isn't easy, and was definitely a nice challenge.

Another 'solo' set of encounters that are frankly Mythic+ difficulty. WTF! If Blizz wanna throw this s**t at us then at least increase the No. of Legendary items we can equip. Unless you are running Mythic level D's & R's & picking up high value gear these are an utter waste of time & G.

I tried out a lot of builds and I know my rotation is solid but at 878 feral I can't even kill the imps most of the time before I'm dead. :/

I never want things just handed to me, but purposefully making it so only the top players can do this is about as worse programming scheme they can do. Since everything is scalable this xpac, more players the mobs are harder, better geared the mobs are harder, why wouldn't they do the same thing for solo players who don't have the best mystic gear. My mage is my highest iLvL geared character I have, she's at iLvL 860. I don't do dungeons, esp mystics as I'm not in a guild. And pugging those is insane. Thus, once more, blizzard catered to the top players and give a do do to any casual player. Well, it's not like this is something "needed" to play the game, as I've been told countless times with other things. So, once again, I'll just play like I want, and do without that "special" look on my weapon.
It would be nice if once in a while Blizzard would realize they have more than one player base. Not everyone has the desire to be the top dps, tank, healer. Not everyone wants to play pvp, some of us don't like it at all.
No, I don't want things handed to me on a silver platter, but I also would like to be able to compete in them with some semblance of having a chance to complete it.
Is that really to much to ask for Blizzard? Really?
pugging mythic dungeons or emerald nightmare Hc or nh normal is far from insane...

ITT: people who didn't do the Green Fire quest when it was relevant. You're meant to spend
at least
an hour or two learning the encounter. Kinda like how raid progression is, but by yourself. Hard punishes for failing like one shots are intended. You aren't meant to try twice and get it. Every death will make it that much sweeter when you do finally nail it. It's not a gear check, but yes when Tomb comes out and you get better gear it will become easier and easier. So either git gud or wait until you can ezmode it with better gear.
There is no "git gud" when the damage the trash does on melee attacks exceeds your health. There's no mechanic to that.
Here's how the fight should work for tanks:
1. Inquisitor spawns. He has a damage aura on the ground around him with a stacking debuff that lowers your max health. You are meant to weave in and out of that to DPS him, managing the debuff and letting it fall off before it gets too high.
2. He casts a Drain Life spell. You must interupt it or it will do heavy damage to you and heal him.
3. He summons packs of trash mobs. They leave a debuff that increases magic damage taken. They have to be burned down quickly to avoid stacking the buff too high. CC helps.
4. He summons eyes you must face towards or be knocked back, potentially into the damaging aura. They can't be harmed by physical attacks, so you must use magical damage to burn them down.
5. He summons infernal adds. These hit hard, so must be kited or have mitigation cool downs used when fighting to minimize damage taken.
6. Velen summons orbs on occasion that heal you/stun and damage adds. Use these to help burn large groups of adds before getting overrun, or to recover from high spikes of damage.
See? That's a challenging fight, right? Six mechanics to keep track of, each with potential to end the fight if you mess up. That's NOT what is being complained about. No one wants it "handed to them".
THIS is what ACTUALLY happens when I walk in there:
1. Inquisitor spawns. He has a damage aura on the ground around him with a stacking debuff that lowers your max health. You are meant to weave in and out of that to DPS him, managing the debuff and letting it fall off before it gets too high.
2. He spawns a pack of mobs. They kill me because each of the five mobs melees for 3.5 million of my 5 million health.
How, exactly, is that not a gear check? No one's complaining about the challenge. No one's complaining about the mechanics. We're complaining about the tuning because you shouldn't walk into a fight and be dead in under 20 seconds when you didn't screw up the mechanics.
There is no reason the boss needs to have so much health, our DPS is already suffering because of the fact we can't melee him for more than 2 seconds at a time and the mass amount of adds to focus on. He could have lower than average health and this would still be a very tough fight.
There is no reason the trash needs to hit for 3.5 million melee. They leave a debuff that if left unchecked will cause the boss to one-shot you, they could do ignorable damage because that's not what makes them dangerous.
There is no reason this fight SHOULD BE EASIER WITH GEAR. It doesn't need to be tuned for a 910+ gear level. It could be made to be equally challenging for all gear levels, as any number of fights in this game have been.
I -love- challenges. I will happily die on a fight for two hours to figure it out. I get angry when I don't have time to figure it out because I am being one shot, as a tank, by a pack of trash mobs.

These "Solo Challenges" for a new artifact tint are a great way fro Blizzard to alienate and drive away the casual player (their main income base) in favor of the dedicated raider who basically plays for a few months, then suspends their account until the next x-pac comes out so they can move on to other game franchises...way to go Blizz punishing your loyal players who pay year round.....seriously thinking about finally leaving this game after 11+ years because I'm tired of all the cool stuff going to the hard raiders.

^ exactly. They need to remember who the majority of constantly subbed people are. Many raiders quit once they've finished raids (not all, of course, but many). Filthy casuals stay subbed so they get those pets, mounts, xmogs, etc.

I walked in yesterday expecting a challenge. I knew it wasn't gonna be easy, but I wasn't expecting to have the experience end in five seconds. I knew skill was required, so I was ready to dance like a maniac and pop mitigation (I main prot pally) and try to keep everyone alive. I managed to last about 10-20 seconds when I get the announcement that Velen died. Then I was ported out.
Like others, I don't mind a challenge. I knew that going in. What I don't like is essentially getting one-shotted without warning.

Jordân - Emerald Dream alliance
Completed the windwalker fight earlier after about 24 attempts, after i learned the mechanics it seemed to be pretty easy, granted the only time i ever died was purely because of user error.
Great fight blizz! really enjoyed it!

I tried it two times as a MM hunter and thats all it took for me to notice its requires really high gear and some skill. So, I am not going to even attempt it again for at least a month when I have more gear haha. I am sure the mage tower will be built again so chill and play the rest of the game instead of spending countless nethershards.
