Ithalwen ignored the gnome, for now.
"If you feel strongly so. I suggest Killing the dragons, their interferance in mage affairs is problematic." The elf explained to the death knight. Just looking at the abomination made her scowl, the embers of silvermoon burning behind the ice blue eyes.
"Your grudge with the scarlet fanatics is only a minor concern in the war of these wastelands."

"Should any dragons cross my path, I will keep your words in mind," Balrick said. "But I doubt I will run into them."
Character:
Granda Lusgrave, Cyangros
Location:
Dragonblight, Crystal Halls
Lifeless and dead, the crystal halls were buried deep within the Dragonblight. The sun at her back, Granda descended their depths. Her footsteps echoed through the corridor of ace, warped reflections pacing her. They all showed the same pale woman, her lips blue, her lashes dark and her skin an ivory white. Garbing her was a huge fur coat, the white fur of the collar surrounding her face like a lion's mane, her steps marked by the clipped click of shoes. Ice grew in jagged formations. A thousand mirrors, distorting shapes and sounds, images and reflections. The floor was stone and flat, smoothed to a blackened surface where snow had gathered in a mass. It too a mirror.
But the ice faded. At a slant the passage suddenly turned to stone. Tightly fitted halls in stark angular patterns, the rock crusted with ice, dark and marked by the silence of the grave. Her breath bloomed in white puffs, something the icy corridor she had left could not have done. The silence of the tomb filled the hall.
Bones could be seen. The skeleton of a man long dead lay sprawled as she passed. She stepped over it without seeming to notice, and did not look when she heard something rattle and creak behind her.
The passage turned and brought her into a vast room. Like an ampitheatre, bone arches held up a domed roof. The stone of the dome was cracked, a corner had fallen in. The floor was likewise at a slight angle, and in the center lay a dark pit. Around this were four pedestals where four irregular violet crystals slumped. One of their number still floated, casting a weak violet light into the room, the sort of light which made shadows deeper and seemed to conjure whispers. Two other stones were present, both cracked and held in place by the gossamer swaddling of webbing.
Grande crossed the floor towards the pit and stopped at its edge. She looked down.
Within the pit lay a carpet of broken bones of giants. Teeth and claws, whole skeletons of dragons cast aside, the sockets of their skulls staring blankly at the darkness. Every bone was grey and browned, tarnished and brittle. All but one.
Her arrival was not unnoticed. There was a rattle and the bones began to fall. A head shifted and rose from the mass of the bones. Ivory white rose from the brown. Blue light burned in the sockets as the dragon's skull rose high. Spiderweb cracks surrounded one socket and pulsed with the pale glow. Horns as tall as Granda seemed to glow in the violet light of the sole crystal. Immense talons gripped the lip of the pit and the bones of what was once a dragon pulled itself forward, head lowering, stopped nearly nose to nose with the human.
"Granda."
She bowed to the voice which seemed to echo among the sepulchral halls. "Lord Cyangros. I have come."
"Good. Good."
She glanced to the pit of bones. "You have eaten recently?"
"Bah," the dragon scoffed and gestured with a claw to the bones. "Nothing but dregs. No true power. I cannot raise this fallen necropolis with the power I have in me. Nor break the curse which binds me." He pulled himself further from the pit and a second skeleton revealed itself. Wrapped tight about his lower half, dessicated and dried like a mummy, the green dragon wound about his body and clutched at his bony ribs tightly with its claws. There were no eyes in the sockets, but a green light seemed to flicker in the depths.
"Unfortunate, master," Granda said. "The Scourge has need of this facility."
"Yes," the undead dragon hissed. It swung its head to her once more. "But I believe I may have a solution to that problem."
Granda looked back up and through her dark hair. "Yes, my lord?"

"I'll make the arrangements right away, sir."

"Do that. I am counting on you," Miter said, his words faintly reverberating. "We are the
hammer
which will destroy the Scourge. Never forget that only we have the
will
and
strength
of righteousness behind us. Take heart, Evlyn. And
follow me
, and together, we shall
destroy
the traitor prince, and put the
destiny

Now a bit more than slightly discomforted, Linder only managed "yes, sir" while she waited for the inquisitor to finish and let her go get her things.

"A forest of crystals with elven ruins inside it. It's history and arcane knowledge the elves there possessed are unknown to me." Ithalwen began to explain, leaning back at her chair. "So, one of the ruins in crystalsong forest."

"That's just off Dragonblight," the gnome said. "Good luck getting there though. Air movements restricted thanks to all the frostwyrms and the battle going on in Wintergrasp. You're going overland if you want to get there sweetie."
Balrick grimaced. He clasped his gauntlets on the table and squeezed his fist in his hand. "...Dragonblight," he said and his brows lowered at the feeling of dread it imposed. He nodded and glanced back up at the gnome. "Thank you," he said, rising from the chair without touching his foaming drink.

"I had hoped to give it more time to mature," the dracolich mused. It clacked its teeth hungrily and idly plucked a massive femur from the pile. He bit down, snapping the brittle bone with ease. From the broken shards rose a thin finger of greenish mana. The dragon opened his jaws. The thread of mana twined through the air, drawn relentlessly between his teeth.
"But it should be enough. I had a lair in the Borean Tundra, before my...existence took an alteration. Within is an experiment I had. One of many that I lost when matters came to an unexpected head. Go there, and retrieve it."
Granda bowed. "As you wish."
"Seek it out beneath the stone like the steps. Twice and three, press them in that order to open it. Can you do that?"
Granda nodded. "It will be done. For the Scourge."
"Yes yes," the dragon said with an idle wave of his claws. "Now be off."
Again Granda bowed. She turned and strode from the chamber and into the dark halls of fallen necropolis.

"I'm aware to the flying wyrms, both dead and blue." Ithalwen replied sourly. And finished the last of the rejuvenating hot cup of honeymint tea, though something told her it wasn't the last cup of that tea in this land.
The high elf moved up and exited the tavern, eyeing the keep for the grim death knight and rushed to him. "Perhaps we should travel together for a while, the roads aren't the safest this time of the year. " The spellblade proposed.

"No, I was unable to use the icebreaker to transport any mounts. Though if you have one we could share. Or I could obtain it from the local stabled." The elf replied mater of factly.

"
Granda

the necromancer stopped. She turned, the thin mist of cold air which clung to the floor whisking at her motion. She narrowed her eyes at the sepulchral halls and their deathly trim of carved bones and skulls.
"
Granda
," the voice repeated, airy and soft like a breath of wind. Granda glanced at the walls.
"Vespas."
through the wall drifted a silver shape. Her whole shape seemed ragged and wild, from the dress which hung in tatters to her long hair which writhed about her head like snakes. Her hands extended from tattered sleeves, ending in fingers like talons. Her face was white and staring, her eyes as white as her skin. She seemed to flicker as she neared, as if fading from reality as she approached.
"
Granda. You are leaving?
"
"I have a task," she said, pulling her fur coat closer to herself and watching carefully the banshee approach.
This did not go unnoticed by the ghost. She drifted low and brushed a finger against her cheek. "
Still clinging to the last thread of mortality. Is such a thing proper for an agent of the Scourge?
"
Granda scowled deeper and pulled back. "I live because it is more useful to the Scourge for me to do so."
"
And what of I?
" the banshee wailed. "
Why can I not?
"
"You know why." Granda frowned. "Did you want something?"

"Ahh..." Ithalwen replied with a tone that said, 'I don't want to disrespect your mount'. "I'll get one from the stables then." The high elf nodded and turned to the stables. "You should come, maybe I'll get a intimidation discount."

Balrick scowled but followed the elf.
The stables were across the parade ground. The ground was hard and frost crunched with a bitter sound as Balrick stepped over it. Several horses within the stables stamped uncertainly and tossed their heads as the undead approached. A soldier in rattling, ill fitting armour and wearing the blue and gold tabard of the Alliance quickly moved to calm the horses, stroking the muzzle of one and whispering to it.

"
Take me with you
."
Granda narrowed her eyes at the banshee. "I have no need of you. Nustal shall accompany me. It's a simple mission."
"
But I suffer in these halls
," the banshe moaned. She circled the necromancer, her tattered white cloth fluttering about her. "My affliction of death. My ghostly pains. Yet I suffer for eternity in this state between life and death."
"What's your point," Granda said coldly.
The banshee threw up her arms and wailed, "I can't tell anyone about it!"
Granda rolled her eyes as the banshee continued, clutching her hand to her breast as if to drive a knife into it.
"No one to speak to. No one who might understand my pain. I cannot touch them. Cannot feel them. I am nothing here. Is it wrong to wish to leave? Even for a short time? To know the warmth of the sun? And
," the banshee continued, her pupil-less eyes widening intensely. "
If you should find an enemy, I could tell them
." Her claw-like fingers tightened. "
Make them know my suffering!
"
Granda shifted her fur coat about her shoulders. "...Very well. You may come in useful."
"
Oh!
" The banshee clapped her hands in delight. "
Thank you my dear! Thank you ever so much
."
Granda waved her off with her almost bluish fingers. "Save your thanks. You may prove useful. That is the only reason. If you fail to I will send you back. Now come," she said, turning with a flap of her heavy fur coat. "We're to find Nustal."
"
Of course
," the banshee said, bowing her head subserviently. "
For we all serve the Scourge
."

Upon seeing the sorry excuses for horses the stables provided, the spellblade approached a nearby stableboy. "Do you have a horse that's not afraid of undead? I'd hate it to have my mount run away when I face undeads on the outside." She asked in a sassy tone.

The young man jumped and whipped about. His eyes had a slightly yellowish tinge as they widened and his skin a sickly look. "Oh. Er, some. Yeah. We...It's hard to make them used to the undead, of course. Not like we practice necromancy often. No. Ha. Ha ha! Ha...A-anyway. Er..." Turning he scuttled into the stable. A minute later he returned with a black horse. Large and shaggy, the horse tossed its head and snorted irately.
"Er, this one. One of the ones from Darkshire."
Balrick paused and turned towards the silvery phantom. His blue eyes fixed on it, he extended a gauntleted hand as if to try and grab it.
