Cant wait to try this on my IOS device. Not the perfect solution, ideally Blizz releases garrison info to APIs BUT this is a step in the right direction and I'm super grateful to people writing this stuff for us gamers.
I see support is in the works for Alts +1 for that.
I have 7 garrisons running so for now I will wait for next version

This guy knows whats up, Not only would it make the program easier to use on the user side, it would also improve wowhead as a website since it allows for Garrison data mining (should you want statistics on it) and i agree with that alot of people with install the client, because of this.

That's a very great idea... a much better one,if we can operate over the Garrison with mobile application like starting new jobs or collect the resources. Otherwise i can't see any additional benefits if i can "just" track the missions and work orders - especially not, when i'm not sitting in front of my PC.
An other problem is the "multi"-application issue like @LostThunder already said. Shouldn't be a problem if you use the authentificator.

Wonderful app, one bug - my work orders are coming through with times like 51 hours to complete.
For the couple of people having problems getting the QR code to read - it can be a pain to get the phone to focus on the QR code, You have to hold the phone close to the screen and keep it very steady.

The game client only writes data from Wowhead AddOn when you Exit the game (Saved Variables are only written to disk on game exit). So this would only work if you planned to Exit World of Warcraft right after.
Maybe I'm missing something huge here, but why would anyone need this mobile app while the game is actually running?

It's not a bug. That's how long it will take for 100% of your work orders to be completed.
As for the QR reading issue, it's more a problem with your phone's camera. Mine works quite well, and haven't had any problems yet.

It's not intended to manage your garrison missions while you're away.
It's a reminder to say "HEY! Your missions are done! You should log back in, collect and send your followers back out!"
That's the
whole
scope of the app. Any kind of management that directly effects your in-game stuff would have to come from Blizzard, or a party with Blizzard authorization. (Which is not likely. IE: Why the Mobile Auction House is owned/run by Blizzard.)
I personally find this app incredibly useful. Especially, since I can remote into my computer and manage my missions from my phone or while I'm at work.

I get that it's showing me my last timer (all work orders completed) but is there a way to have it show my *next* timer?
This would help me to go get a handful of work orders and then top-up to keep my work orders full.

Update on reading the QR code - I just figured out that turning the brightness down on my monitor makes the camera focus much faster.

Ok, probably a crazy question, but, since you're using text QR codes, why not add a timestamp portion? Them, assuming the phone and computer both have the correct time, the app will have the correct timers even if the user/player takes a minute or 2 to remember to scan the generated code. While you're at it, just add the character-server in as well, that way the app will track all the characters with garrisons.

I was finally able to install this on my nook but I am seeing nothing but a black screen when I try to launch it. Black screen with 3 golden looking treasure chests on the bottom of my screen. I have done several uninstall reinstalls and still same issue exists. Please help!

This really makes me sad to see this. I understand why Wowhead would develop an app of this type, but the fact that it needs to exist at all is disturbing. WoW
does not
need a Farmville aspect to the game. The idea that we need to check in hourly in order to progress really shows the decline of the actual gameplay in this MMO. We've got a huge amount of time and effort spent developing attractive minigames while the two core areas of the game are left to wither.
Try Ashran or skirmishes if you don't know what I mean.

QR codes have limited data available to send. If you increase the amount of data you increase the size of the QR which some phones can't read. We had to be really careful to keep the data size down.
