The only thing I disagree with concerning Yakra's statements is that people are often not as discriminate towards gems or guilds, if they feel they're temporary.
What I want to hint on, is that while a guild may have a certain reputation, don't judge them too harshly until you've talked with some of their members, or played with them. Often one or two people can cause an unfavorable impression, simply because their beliefs differ from those of another, such as a friend. This presents the classic, "Oh, don't play/talk/associate with so-and-so; their guild is full of nothing, but noobs!"
Don't let general rumors or uninformed reputations potentially limit your experiences -- take some risks, just not when you're pressed for time or strapped for cash. That's my opinion, =)

I scanned over a few of the above posts. It sounds as if you're worried with several little creatures while tanking two larger ones.
If the 5 little guys you mentioned aren't even elite, then you should have your DPS on them first. If you have a mage or some other form of AOE, then make them use it!
For something your level, especially your level, you should be able to survive long enough to Thunderclap & hold aggro on your creatures before the priest can pull -- perhaps the priest was tossing out Power Word: Shields, etc. Moves like that or other threat-intensive abilities which are not necessary will definitely pull aggro from less significant creatures very early on. This is amplified for players without threat-reduction via talents while leveling.

I have a warrior he is a tank and i tryed to see the diferance .So i made a lot of avoidance with 552 def raiting and tryed to do Fathom-Lord Karathress. Was very hard because of the parry i was geting hit a lot so i change to stamina full and that was the key is betther to have 16550 hp(no buffs) then 14900 and a lot of def raiting. And because i get hit i have a lot of rage.Btw if u have a lot of rage use rage dump tact maybe Yakra can tell us about that.

Yakra, I've noticed you have really been pumping out the updates & the guide looks great! I do have a new suggestion for the Table of Contents now, I think it will work perfectly since you have multiple posts on different pages.
Did you know you could right-click the link next to a poster's name that states when the post was created? Doing so, you can see/copy the exact link to that post! For example, "Arideni 5 minutes ago." By right-click & copying the link for "5 minutes ago," one can load the page at that particular post. You could link all the pages/posts like that in your ToC!

Btw i have an other way to make aggro. I start with bloodrage when i pull i have a macro that when i pull activated that(Improved Bloodrage is a big plus for me) . Then use Shield Slam -Revenge spam the Devastate until the cd of Shield Slam is down and then again Shield Slam-Revenge and spam Devastate and allways keep Shield Block. With this tact if u are doing right u will make something like 1200 tps avrage. When u have a lot of rage more use dump tact with spam of
Heroic Strike do not stay with rage more then 85 because u want to use all rage and if u stay with rage more then 85 u will find that in the battle u will have 100.
This tact has a problem is u miss the Shield Slam then use Devastate and go for Yakra threat.

As for threat generation - I personally use devastate -> devastate -> Shield Slam -> Revenge in most of the fights and macros devastate(HS) -> devastate(HS) -> Shield Slam(Shield Block) -> Revenge(HS) in a harder boss fights (on easier ones I don't have enough rage to use it anyway).
As for Stamina/Avoidance I like to keep some balance between them - too much avoidance could result in dmg spikes or rage starvation, and high stamina at a cost of avoidance will result in constant high dmg on you making it harder for healers to heal you and going OOM in a longer fight.
As for now I cleared kara and have unbuffed ~13k hp 70% block/dodge/parry and 15k armor and it's working pretty well.

If your guild doesn't notice & appreciate your ability & willingness to provide an outlet for progression, then there are dozens of smaller guilds whom
would love to have you
. Politely consult with your guild officers & see if you can
pick their brains
. If there is only one group for Karazhan, then perhaps another group is needed for those who either have too much time on their hands or happen to be in the same situation as yourself. Often you will find you're not alone & if you can't come to a reasonable compromise for at least some of the bosses you need, then it may be time to find alternative means to an end.
My recommendation is to stop waiting for patch 2.4 & spend some of the badges you already have on some of the Badge of Justice rewards which are presently implemented. Cross-check your options with those possibilities in 2.4 & find out which pieces you can go ahead and benefit from
right now
. I understand that all, too often a player who works hard pre-raid will get looked over & it is honestly a true fact that others
may need the gear more than you
. Unfortunately, they probably did not work as hard as you pre-raid. It's a setback, to be sure, for once they obtain said gear players attending raids on a regular basis may feel more comfortable with that other tank leaving you out in the cold yet again.
My suggestion is to consult your raid officers, as previously mentioned, and see what you can work out. If they're too complacent to give you a try, at least on certain encounters, then perhaps
you
are too complacent with your choice of guilds.
