"Mmm, fragrant," Greg commented, taking his cup. "Though I have to ask, doc, is that cinnamon or WD-40 I smell?"

Soren returned with the requested materials. "It appears that this fellow is a bit harder than your attitude today," he said, raising an eyebrow at the man on the gurney. "I'm rather surprised that he's alive, let alone conscious."

"Oh. Thanks," Fred said confusedly when he was handed a cup of...tea?
He absently took a sip, which caused his face to distort in horror. He put down the cup on the table next to the troll's head and muttered "I really need a caprinoid. If you find me one, I will be much obliged. Oh, and that's probably de-greaser. Good for cleaning brain cells, too."
Opening an overhead cabinet and taking out cases of utensils and disposables of all kinds, he began to work while chatting absently to anyone who would listen.
"Now, how strong are your stomachs? I presume they're made of neosteel, hardened killers as you are. But this might be something, different, I don't know. Anyway, if you want to hang around, feel free. Oh, you are something
extra
, look at that! You must've noticed, of course. Regeneration, indeed. This is brilliant!"

"I'd like to help, doc," Greg said, carefully putting the cup down, "But what exactly is a caprinoid?"

"A goat, but not a goat, see. Humanoid, like a human but not a human. Of course, if you found a proper goat on this blasted chunk of earth I'd be even happier. But as long as it's got milk I'm fully satisfied. It needs to be a lady goat, though. That's a given. Or a lady goatoid. Either. Will. Do."
While talking, Fred tried to overcome the rapidly clotting blood's unwillingness to enter a vial by cutting deeper and deeper into the severed head's left eyebrow.

Seemingly forgetful of the tea's horrid taste, Fred took another deep swig from his cup and yet again his face distorted. "Where was I?" he asked himself a moment later, the cup still raised in front of his face. "Oh yes, milk."
In this particular case, with milk he seemed to refer to blood. Giving the scalpel one last forceful thrust, a deep gash opened up in the dead flesh accompanied by a sharp
snap
as the blade broke, zipping off in some unknown direction at incredible speed. "Oh dear," he exclaimed as the blood finally started to drip, and in his confusion he almost gathered it in his teacup before he finally caught a few drops in a vial.
"Excellent! The following part is fantastically non-spectacular," he informed his audience and produced a microscope with peripherals from underneath the table. Using his foot he summoned a chair to him while working on setting up the apparatus. "But will you stay for the cracking of eggs afterwards?"

Soon the microscope was set up and the samples prepared. Frederich hummed approvingly once he had taken a look, and continued to make intermittent sounds of approval and displeasure for the following five minutes.
"Yes, I think I can make something work with this. No promises, of course. And add a small animal, preferably a rodent, to my shopping list. I don't think the docs' are desperate enough yet to let me test it on our wounded."
Pushing away from the desk he drove his chair to a shelf stacked high with little boxes and scanned over the labels with his skeleton-like fingers. "Ah!"
He removed the box earning his approval from the shelf and "walked" with the chair back to his desk. From the container he procured a number of bottles whose labels he inspected at least three times before the right one magically appeared in his hand. He then added some of the liquid from the bottle to the sample vial and corked it.
"Bake at moderate heat for twenty minutes. Boring."
With a series of pops from his spine he rose from his chair and went behind a wheeled tool cabinet bolted to the floor, putting the vial in an incubator.
"Can't make an omelette without cracking eggs," he said cheerily when he returned, glasses replaced by goggles and brandishing a crowbar. "And can't make a brain stew without cracking skulls."

Okay, this was going to suck. A lot.

"My feet hurt. Why did we have to walk? Are we there yet?" Desidaku groaned in complained, marching along still despite Celene's grumbling. It didn't help she had needed to listen to it the entire way down through Duskwood.
The world seemed to brighten once again, the off-green grass and dark trees being replaced by colorful foliage all around, as if all of Azeroth had died, only to come back to life suddenly.
Through the canopy, the sight of black smoke still billowed upwards into the sky, some trees also smoking, the tops of them scorched.

Pray glanced at Tia, then began fighting with the wheels of her chair, taking a moment to actually succeed and popping herself back up onto the stone pathway so she could follow after. Her palms were covered in hardened calluses from such stubbornness; almost always refusing assistance until her situation was entirely hopeless.

"By the light this kid is annoying." He thought as he tried to keep his attention on the path before him.
Character: Richard, Loki
Location: Stranglethorn Vale (Fort Livingston)
"Is this it?" Richard asked as the man walked around just east of the fort till he found what he was talking about. He stopped before a crater and looked down seeing a wrecked thor in the middle of the crater parts of it either missing or smashed at odd angles..
"Yes. The locals said it fell out of the sky awhile ago but they're to afraid to get close. I've never seen anything like it." Loki said before Richard started to walk down and Loki followed him.

The engineer held his face in a look of silent pain. There was only so much any amount of numbing could hope to do. The event hadn't been painful per-say, but it was in no way pleasent.
"Well... this is a pleasent morning so far..." He muttered.
Desidaku, Celegosa

Des looked up at the smoke, following it down and watching as light broke through the canopy ahead; trees stripped of their uppermost sections as the scar began from the impact.
"It was have come down at an angle, skidded along the tress and then over the ground." Celene commented. "Come on, how far can it be?"

Pray followed along, the wheels of her chair squeaking occasionally as she forced it along over the bumpy terrain.

"So what am I looking at?" The marauder questioned, looking at the ghoul which struggled atop a table.
"Well." The Dominion scientist began. "For all intents and purposes, it's dead. Beyond dead, actually; rottened. By all logic, it shouldn't move. It's amazing, really, if we could understand it, our soilders would be nearly unkillable."
"I'm more interested in what the exceptions to the 'unkillable' are..." The marauder's voice echoed deeply.
"Well, we'll need more specimens of course. But, high damage to their body seems to leave them inoperable. Besides that, our ghosts have been notably effective using psionic attacks."
"At the cost of more ammo than we can spare, or exhausting them."
"Well, I didn't say they were effective methods."

William turned slightly, fighting with Nora's injection to actually get himself up. "Where's the Magistrate? I need to know our situation..."
Desidaku, Celegosa

"Oh, stop complaining." Celene commented. "Come on!" She yelled, rushing off.
Light shot through as the canopy vanished, trees suddenly becomming lower and lower with where they were snapped, the earth kicked up and grass dissapearing in favor of loose dirt.
The group stopped, huge hills rolling up to either side as, in the distance, they could spot the massive ship, figures which looked tiny in the distance moving about around it.
"Woah..." Des stated.

William glanced behind him, grimmacing. "Well... dammit." He muttered. "This just gets better and better." He commented, getting to his feet.
Des hid behind the cart at the sight of the blue light shooting up into the sky.
Celene watched for a moment, staring as the flare burned up and fell from the sky. "Uhh... I think they saw us..."
Spike watched the bright light, tilting his head curiously.
