First off you need to Regem, reforge and get rid of that windsong unless you are waiting for a better weapon to use jade spirit enchant on. On the regemming/enchanting part i would listen to askmrrobot.com for reforging i would try using reforgelite addon.

asting. While it's true that casting something thats sub-optimal is a dps loss, however, casting the wrong thing is better than casting nothing.

Your hit is low. You should stack to at least 14%... 15% will never miss and avoid some headaches (missing a haunt will be a big dps loss). Keep your eye on your trinket procs - refreshing dots as appropriate to utilize them, and remember to use your Dark Soul when it's available (ideally with a trinket proc and during execute phase) - you also want to pop it when your trinket procs early in the fight and get your Doomguard out to stack the most dps out of that 10min CD.
During your execute, remember to switch over to drain soul, and use soul swap to refresh your dots (again, watch for your LotC proc). My ilvl is about where you are, and on fights that I go affliction I can top 70K dps single target, so I think you have some room to improve.

Lancecaster has good advice.
Your gemming is perfect, dont touch it.
Try and get 4 piece.
Your weapon is whats causing your problem right now :-)

you should get rid of those mastery gems and put intellect ones
No, your gemming is perfect,, dont change a thing.
you have too much mastery basically
No, mastery is best, can never have too much of it. Only exception is you want to be able to reach 4717 haste for that additional corr tick.
if you use grimloe of supremacy its a dps increase...not sacrifcing your demon
No, sacrifice is best for affliction.
.i dont even call the doomsguard i feel it makes my numbers lower
No, how can an additional demon make your numbers lower?
.Dark intent should make up your haste loss
No, DI is only a spell buff now.
Archimondes Vengeance for mastery loss
No, Have you even read the tooltip?
but repeating myself becausee its late lose the mastery gems.
No, keep the mastery gems.
SonnyJr, you should read about your class and spec before posting advice.

You are affliction now, so mastery is your best friend.
Reforge all you can to it, regem everything, mastery on gloves.
Red socket: Artful Orange
Yellow socket: Fractured Yellow
Blue socket: Sensei's Green
You can try and make it to 4717 haste but that is not obligatory.
Hang in the 14-15% hit (its debatable, technically 10-11% is sufficient for affliction but i find it frustrating when spells don't land)
Check your glyphs, unstable affliction is good now.
Make sure you use soulburn soulswap combo when relevant.
Other than that i guess its just practice.

What's your reasoning here? UA has a 1.5 second cast time, which puts it right inline with the GCD. I see this glyph as valuable for PvP, but I am interested in hearing why's it good for PvE.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Thanks for pointing that out.
I guess i was still stuck in that time when gcd was affected by haste and in fact, looking at my timers and gcd bar ( i use quartz ), i could swear i notice a difference when use the glyph or not.
Simcraft shows a minus 60dps when i remove it, which falls into the error margin anyway.
I makes me wonder after all why did they even change that glyph.

I seriously doubt that not capping hit is beneficial in the real world. For me hit is
really close to haste
in value, and simulations are far better than most players in reacting to missed spells.
I've got similar level of gear as fasal.
Check yourself
