I don't have a favourite dungeon boss, my favourite raid boss however is The Lich King. :)

Warbringer O'mrogg in Shattered Halls heroic, pre-nerf.
Lich King 25man heroic, despite all the frustration that fight otherwise entailed.
Thinking it over I came up with some candidates for raid bosses that surprised me a bit because I haven't paid them any attention in a long time. Twin Val'kyrs heroic and Halion heroic, specifically. They both suffered quite a bit from being in generally less popular raids, I think.

Favorite dungeon boss...I'm not quite sure. Bronjahm stands out for his awesome theme music, but the fight itself isn't too interesting. Eregos was cool (I like vehicle fights); my only complaint is that I rarely got the chance to actually fight him because people hate Oculus. Ring of Law and Rend Blackhand probably would be my favorites if I had played during vanilla. When I first did those bosses, it was Wrath and you could take both of them out without a problem. Might've been cooler if they were more of a challenge.
Favorite raid boss would be either Lich King (epic climax to Wrath), Flame Leviathan (like I said, I like vehicle fights), or Chess Event. I also like Gunship for some reason. Deathwing would've been awesome if the fight had been less about the NPCs doing everything and more about you kicking black dragon ass.

Exactly what BlueRobe said about BM. I loved doing that on my mage. Just like in Violet Hold.
Along with the note of being awesome on a Mage, I loved Mage-Tanking in Gruul's Lair.
I enjoyed a lot of Wrath fights. The avatar of hakkar was cool, try to throw in as much of your real spells before you got transformed. Forge of souls just because of the ridiculous voices. "You dare look upon the forge of souls?"
General Vezaxx was fun too as a Mage.
Stop these threads, I miss too much. :(

I used to love Shadowfang Keep in the old days. Cool little castle and bosses that did silence, mind control, fear and all the other stuff you would need later on in the game.
Stuff like pulling mobs out of the room Commander Springvale was in, but keep a good distance between the tank/melee group and the healer/caster group because those mobs used silence quite a lot. Teaching the tank/melee group to stay in line of sight of the healer and so on.
Excellent little instance where you could learn to play your role properly while still being a lowbie.
These days the group just noobstomps the instance, every mob is stupidly underpowered so if the healer gets silenced the tank and monk will still kill the mobs fast enough that it just doesn't matter and the tank only takes minimal damage anyway.

Favorite raid boss... I guess I'd say is Vaelastrasz the Corrupt, not for being a good fight or anything, but rather because he gives me a great laugh whenever me and a friend goes through BWL for his pally set, just because Vaelastrasz always kills him, and no matter what my friend does, he can't get the boss to kill me instead. :D
Edit: Oops, thought he wrote favorite dungeon boss and raid. But anyways my favorite dungeon boss would probably be Kael'thas in magisters terrace. I just kinda find that fight fun.

Favorite dungeon is very hard to decide, but I guess I'll say Halls of Origination since I love egyptian style and WoW's "Titan" style, and that instance pretty much combines them. Though I really feel like it had been better as a raid, just because it's so long for just a dungeon.
I think a lot of people are getting confused by his title. If you read his post, it's clear he's asking for our favorite Raid boss, and favorite Dungeon boss.
The title can be read either way though.
It should be changed to 'Favorite Dungeon boss and Raid boss?'
Cheers.

Favorite dungeon boss I am going to go with Murmur in SL for a few reasons:
a. he was huge and felt like you were fighting a raid boss
b. he was actually pretty hard with wipable mechanics
c. he was the final boss in SL and defeating him and clearing that dungeon really felt like an accomplishment back in the day. I used to do guild runs of SL pretty often back then and I can't even count the number of times I did that long run from the gy back into SL. Used to spend 2-3 hours in that dungeon easy, often with having to quit due to constant wipes.
Favorite raid boss, idk, I'll say Gruul just because it was my first 25m raid and its a fairly exciting fight.

Favourite 5man boss is really hard to tell. I don't particularly love any of them, but in recent memory I guess the last boss in Mogu'shan Palace is pretty entertaining. The fight looks and seems so completely ridiculous - shame it's not actually anywhere near as hard as it looks.
Raid boss? Jeez. If you only count phase 2, Sha of Fear Heroic was a ton of fun learning, sadly became a bother to farm - not that it wipes us a lot, it just drags on for ever.
Though, for pure entertainment, stuff like Imperial Vizier Zor'Lok HC is also
highly amusing sometimes

Favourite raid boss would be between Lich King heroic and Mimiron hard-mode.
Not sure about dungeon boss but the dungeon I have the most feeling for is definitely Shattered Halls heroic. I can't tell you how awesome it was to go in there and tank it with no CC classes back in tBC (I was one of about 5 or 6 tanks who could do in on my realm+faction, even in 2.4).
Edit: I decided on a boss; Emperor Dagran Thaurissan from BRD, it's not a particularly interesting fight but after the marathon that is a full BRD run there isn't much like getting him down.

Professor Putricide used to make me LMAO the first few times.
We wiped and wiped, week after week. But when we finally got him down with the room nearly completely full of slime, and people about to die, vent was ringing with the sounds of joy and relief.
That's why I chose him. Great mechanics, lines, and one tough sob.
Cheers.
