About to come back, but haven't played since mid Cata.

I used to pvp/arena through part of bc/all of wrath/some of cata. I had almost every toon level capped, but favored frost/arcane mage and feral druid. If I were to come back, I'd only want one main, so which is doing better in arena? Who has a broader array of possible arena partners? I kinda figure this xpac is going to be quite the shock, so might as well learn on my main.

Well, until they finally fix the burst damage that a lot of classes (mostly casters) can pull off, Frost mage would probably be the best bet since they can pretty much global people with their cds up and with a good burst partner, they can melt someone through their defensives. If you aren't going to be tethered to feral then druid might be a better choice overall though since resto is doing pretty well and feral/boomkin both have the damage to fit into teams.

Sadly. burst damage won't be changed next patch; I was more speaking for further in the future. Next patch will, however, make it easier to get pvp, so it will be a good time to come back if your focus is pvp.

Well…right on! Lol…all I used to play for is pvp. I lived for arena…we used to do arcane/mut 2v2 and RMP for 3s. I'll need to find new arena buddies :P Do you think Ele/Frost will be a good 2s team?

frost is getting a burst buff this coming patch I dont know how long it will last before they hotfix it but frost will be insane for awhile
