Ilvl483 pve weapon Vs. ilvl470 pvp weapon
Return to board index
So, I have a
Taoren, the Soul Burner
, from LFR, which has 3958 DPS and I just got points enough to buy a
Malevolent Gladiator's Longbow
which has 3506 DPS + 18% of pvp power. I made tests using normal training dummys (which I believ simulates a player) on autoshot only and shoting rotation tests, and taoren (the pve weapon) had in both cases more DPS than the pvp one.
Is it worth to keep the gladiator bow or should I get other itens? (I am full dreadfull already)
If I were you I would keep the pvp one. I know that it has lower dps but pvp power is way more important in pvp atm. Your damage is meaningless if you cant do damage throught enemys reciliense or how do you write it. As I understood that you are more pvp person so you should have lots of pvp power.
pvp weapon for pvp, the target dummies simulate a pve scenario, not a pvp one.
Thats true dreadhooker. Dummies dont have any armor and they dont have any resilience or what is it.
Also pvp power doesnt increase the damage on dummies. 18% damage increase all over the board is more than 13% increase in weapon dps and a little bit of agi/stam and secondary stats.
PvP weapon for pvp. They even doubled the PVP power on them to ease the decision making.
