How does Blade Furry replicate Killing Spree?

Hey everyone,
Always been Subtlety in PVP and Assassination in PVE, but after giving Combat PVP a try in MoP, I'm finding it, to my surprise, the most fun.
There's something I've been wondering: How does Blade Furry replicate Killing Spree?
Standing between 2 test dummies (in Shrine of Two Moons) so that I hit both with Killing Spree, with Blade Furry on, Recount shows that there are, as expected, 7 strikes with Killing Spree, but always even more strikes (as high as 15 in my small sample of tests) with Blade Furry. How does Blade Furry, which merely replicates your strikes, result in more than 7 strikes when replicating Killing Spree?
Thanks. And Happy New Years.

You continue to auto attack while KS, thus you can proc mastery hits as well.

Not to mention that KSPR is 7 strikes from both weapons, so 14 weapon strikes in total which BF is replicating. Attis is correct as well regarding autoattacks and main gauche.

Oh, I didn't know that!

I overlooked that it would be replicating both weapons.
Thank you both of you.
EDIT: What's it mean when Blade Furry replicates under 14 strikes then (got as low as 10)? Shouldn't it always be 14+ strikes? I'm guessing it means that the test dummies are placed just far enough from each other that sometimes when darting between the two the other dummy is beyond the 10 yard range?

BF has a 5ish yard range. So yes, when you KS, the dummies are often not within cleave range of each other.
