You need to have learned
Battle Pet Training
to do pet battles. As you are level 20, I assume you are on a Starter Edition account, which
cannot use the Pet Battle system
(not even if you have a paid account under the same Battle.net account, pets are shared, but pet battle status is not)

Yeah that sounds like their default reply, you can safely ignore that.

Tanks. I also sent a support ticket and they aren't saying that, they say it has to do with the interface and i need to do a repair.exe which i can't find.
Repair.exe was removed when MoP hit. It's now built into the launcher to detect issues in the game when launching the application. If Blizzard Employees are still directing you to it then they really need to update their records.
