When does WoW usually go on sale?

WoW is on sale for $20 + shipping right now ($24 for me) at Fry's right now.

I won't be able to play for a few months due to business with school. Is it worth it to buy it now or will it go on sale for less than this within that time?
Does WoW usually reduce the price of the most recent expansion on Black Tuesday or something? By how much?

20 bucks for MoP is a pretty good, deal, one that I would not pass on if you have the cash now. Traditionally, WoW does not run many sales of current expansions. The previous x-pacs drop in price quite often, but that is rare to see the most recent in line at that much of a discount.
However, "the times, they are a changin'", as they say. The economy being down, and with Blizzard down on subs, they may break tradition and run a Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale this year, to help bolster both.
Honestly, I see it as a $20 gamble...it may drop back down, it may not...but at the most, you are out an extra $20, which isn't worth too much hassle.....if it is a hassle for you to buy it now on sale.

Thanks, I bought it! You're right, if I buy it now it's $20 and it probably won't get much cheaper than that--and it might not go on sale at all--who knows.
