I played wow from vanilla thru LK, never playing a rogue as my main but still played one through every raid while it was still current content. I bought Cata and leveled him to 85 and basically unsubbed that day. Out of curiosity I went ahead and bought MoP to check it out and have to say that the classes play entirely different. I would like to know what is gonna be the quickest spec to level him to 90? Im not concerned about pvp specs or endgame spec I just want to know what is the fastest spec to get to endgame. Also if its faster to qquest or grind mobs. Thanks in advance.
P.S. Once i know the spec i can figure out how to play him myself so unlike alot of the posts I see I dont need some to write macros for me.

Subtlety with:
Subterfuge, Combat readiness, Leeching poison, shadowstep (or burst of speed i prefer shadowstep), prey on the weak
Glyphs major: deadly momentum, recuperate (and third one is free to choose - i am using cheap shot)
Use deadly poison and leeching poison. Glyph of deadly momentum should keep snd and recuperate for you.
You open with premed+cheap shot, than ambush, than evisc (or another ambush or garrote if target gonna stay alive long enough).

I personaly used Combat couse of its best spec for killing pile of mobs. But if youu have to kill one or two then Assassin. Combat has best aoe damage from Rogue specs. BF + SaD + FoK = Win. Also use Leeching Poison, BoS, CR and Sbterfuge. As glyphs I would say Evasion, BF (AoE fight) and DM. SaD must be on at all time. Usually put SaD after CS and Garrote to get Speed bonus. Recu should be on all the time. Poisons of Deadly and Leeching. But what I see ppl say that their spec is best =D So what I see is... Combat = AoE, Assassin = 1-2 Mobs + Elites/Rares and Sub = 1 Mob.

You can just use the deadly momentum glyph to keep up self buffs between pulls, however, having rupture up on a target as it dies to refill energy is soooo handy :)

I would say Assassination, sub just got a big un-stealth burst but then they are pretty lame on the damage for a while. Assa got pretty much sustained damage throughout the whole fight. Since poisons do such heavy damage and stats scale so very well at low levels your poisons would do a huge amount of damage due to the mastery.
