(a gearing"info" site) DW is slightly ahead of 2H right now. But this is BiS simulations here, and even then it's really close. Your priority list will be different depending on which you choose, and your stat priority is slightly different, but overall I'd say they're close enough that it comes down to personal choice.
The one big difference I see while gearing up, is it's usually easier to keep a 2H weapon up to date than it is keeping two 1H weapons current - one of them generally lags behind. So until I hit "end game gearing" I usually just use 2H because it's easier to find upgrades.

use a 2hd til u get to ramparts and then try to DW or swop em out...use a 2h in one dun and then DW in another dun and see what puts our more DPS...
